Title: Half-Life 1: $0.98! Post by: NiX on November 19, 2008, 07:31:25 PM To celebrate Half-Life 1's birthday Valve has put the game up for a buck! If you've never played it or wanted to try something like Natural Selection to see what a FPS/RTS is like, why not? You can spare a buck. Not like you're going to invest it in the stock market :grin:

The Black Mesa thing is coming out soon and Valve no doubt had this sale for one last hurrah before a mod makes Half-Life 1 totally obsolete. Because really, it is. There isn't one from what I can tell. You can always grab the HD Pack (http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/fullstory.php?id=105708) and then grabbing HD Models (http://ambientimpact.hl-improvement.com/downloads.htm). Or you could just wait for the Source release of Black Mesa.Thanks :) |
