I didn't consider ice-locked areas to really be "coastline."  If you can't put a harbor that usable the majority of the year or even dive for pearls off of it, then it's pretty damn useless.

Nah, I really don't want to go there either. I'm just saying.. A lot of people bring personal anecdotes up to explain their points in threads (but just to clue you in, there have been some ridiculously drawn out exchanges with me before, so that's what I'm addressing...some people have it in their mind that I'm some SirBruce... but really, I almost always lay out an anecdote or personal piece of info in the most succinct way, and, more importantly, in direct reply of someone. It's not like I'm making threads about this shit, y'know).
