Title: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Oban on October 12, 2008, 09:35:14 PM Quote There is a difference between driving someone's wife and driving someone's car. Great show so far. Mädchen Amick is so fucking hot too. Edit: I'm OCD. Title: Re: My own worst enemy Post by: Der Helm on October 13, 2008, 12:11:27 PM Quote Mädchen Amick What kind of fucked up first name is that ? "Girl" Amick ?!?Title: Re: My own worst enemy Post by: voodoolily on October 13, 2008, 12:17:26 PM Great show so far. Mädchen Amick is so fucking hot too. She was hot in Gossip Girl this season, too. Naming a girl Mädchen is no worse than naming her Nina. Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Merusk on October 13, 2008, 07:05:34 PM nice WOW plug there.
Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Trippy on October 14, 2008, 01:44:16 AM Show has potential.
Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: kaid on October 14, 2008, 05:46:50 AM The show was not bad but the premise hurts my brain. They really did not explain why in the hell you would want to make your super spy into a multiple personality disorder person. In the whole spy biz he is in there has to be some chance of one of your targets coming back after you now instead of having all your normal skills and knowledge you are a sheep with no clue whats going on during the day. That sounds like a very bond villianesque plan for failure.

That sounds like a very bond villianesque plan for failure. Not to mention all the work mantaining the facade for the alternate personality and the mind-wipes and continuity errors, etc. Yes, it's an incredibly stupid premise for a spy program. However, I agree with Trippy that it's got potential. I also happen to think it'll blow it's wad after the first season and then drag on forever like Prison Break. Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Tebonas on October 14, 2008, 09:31:30 AM The show was better when it was called "Jekyll" and was made by the British.
Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Rasix on October 14, 2008, 09:32:28 AM Christian Slater hasn't been interesting since Heathers. I liked him in True Romance. Still, yah... Christian Slater. I'm not buying it. Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Oban on October 14, 2008, 09:42:08 AM Shut up shut up shut up.
Can't we all agree that this show is about: (http://www.clisham.com-a.googlepages.com/Madchen1.jpg) Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: SnakeCharmer on October 14, 2008, 07:58:19 PM Really dig this show.
Really really glad it's not on Fox. Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Trippy on November 14, 2008, 03:27:37 AM NBC Axes My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle:

Someone around here was talking about how they hate James Nesbit. Not me though, I LOVE him. I enjoyed this series, too. Is it gone for good now? As for these other two shows that were canceled - I had never even noticed them and now they're over. Sheesh. I blame switching to FIOS just before the new season and not liking the guide which in turn caused me to make poor use of my DVR this year. Oh and maybe a wee bit on my pathologically terrible ability to notice things. Turning a "oh show's cancelled" into a "ZOMG THIS WILL TOTALLY HELP JOSS" blog posting is :uhrr: Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: tazelbain on November 14, 2008, 08:47:57 AM I liked the show, but it's too convoluted for network TV.
I definitely want to see Christian Slater more in TV/Movies. Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Grimwell on November 14, 2008, 11:37:12 AM My wife was watching this, so I did passively while I computered and stuff. I didn't think it was that good. It was trying too hard instead of just being good.
Title: Re: My Own Worst Enemy Post by: Riggswolfe on November 14, 2008, 01:25:56 PM Is this a new record for NBC? I mean this show had what 6 episodes or so?
