Title: UI Mods Post by: Nonentity on September 09, 2008, 07:13:55 AM I've only found one I like (out of the 9 or so that actually exist), but it's pretty neat.
It's called WhinySpellTimer - http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13512/ It puts three draggable boxes in your UI layout editor - player spells, friendly target spells, and hostile target spells. It tells you, in floating bars, the exact duration of all buffs and debuffs on you, as well as the duration of spells on both your hostile target and friendly target. There's a global cooldown mod as well, but that one wasn't working when I tried it, despite the fact that it had a movable element in the Layout Editor. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Nonentity on September 09, 2008, 08:40:53 AM Is there anything onine regarding the WAR addon API? http://war.curseforge.com/ - That's the best resource I've found so far, but it's still pretty new. The best news I've heard, however, is that the WoWAce (http://www.wowace.com/) guys are looking at getting the Ace3 framework ported over to WAR. EDIT: http://thewarwiki.com/wiki/WAR_API - appears to be a pretty good reference on it. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: d4rkj3di on September 09, 2008, 10:29:28 AM The three that I'm using right now from Curse are CleanUI, AutoLoot, and JunkDump. They work really well, especially JunkDump for the one-click selling.
Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: schild on September 09, 2008, 10:32:56 AM Oh, there's an autoloot mod? How does it work?
Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: d4rkj3di on September 09, 2008, 10:35:44 AM Right-click dead mob, loot window pops-up, goes away almost instantly, stuff is in your pack. If pack is full, window stays up.
Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Evildrider on September 09, 2008, 12:29:50 PM Nice, I really needed an autoloot!
Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Evil Elvis on September 09, 2008, 04:00:09 PM Uh.. doesn't shift+click on a dead mob already auto-loot?
Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Draegan on September 10, 2008, 08:42:15 AM Uh.. doesn't shift+click on a dead mob already auto-loot? Yes but people are lazy. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Nonentity on September 17, 2008, 07:31:48 AM Bumping this thread because I can't wait to get home to test this mod.
ISMoCasts - http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13668/ If it works the way it says it works, then it casts heal spells on mouseover targets. THIS IS GOOD, BECAUSE TARGETING FOR HEALING IS SHIT IN THIS GAME. This will help in certain scenarios, and not in others. It's not perfect, but it helps. Also, for you Swordmasters (or Black Orcs, if you swing that way): PlanB - http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13638/ It switches hotkey pages based on what balance you are automatically - so, you can set something up where you are popping between 3 different pages, each with different balance abilities on them ActionBarColor - http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13662/ Colors the WHOLE button red if you are out of range, not just the hotkey button color. This is good. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: amiable on September 17, 2008, 07:40:15 AM Bumping this thread because I can't wait to get home to test this mod. This is good. The problem I have is that I can't even mouse-over a target in melee, because they are blocked by opposing players, or the idiot is jumping around like a loon and I cant keep up. I know this will help with the former, but will it help with the latter? (I also bound target next friendly to my tilde key, and that has worked great). By the way has anyone figured out how to remap camera zoom from the mouse scroll-wheel? I use a trackball and not being able to zoom out and see the entier battlefield is harshing my mellow. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Nonentity on September 17, 2008, 07:49:37 AM I would like to amend my ISMoCasts post to say that it also heals on unitframe mouseover (for party, scenario, and warband frames).
Moth - http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13697/ Replacement mouseover tooltips - these actually show info on what you're mousing over, over just level! Amazing, I know. InfluenceText - http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13656/ This one is a tiny one, but it puts a small numerical indicator next to your chapter influence bar so you can see exact numbers without having to open the tome. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Hawkbit on September 19, 2008, 12:11:06 PM I'm not a coder so I have no idea if this is feasible, but a mod like WoW's Grid would go a loooooong way in this game.
Especially if you could open it up so that it added players not in group, but by proximity. So, say, a box has all players within 20yds of you, or 10yds of you... whatever you want. That would make healing so much better. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Hawkbit on September 19, 2008, 12:20:09 PM Oop. Well here's a start:
http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13722/ Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Riggswolfe on September 19, 2008, 12:21:39 PM What about macros? I'd like to setup an assist Macro and haven't found much documentation on the macro system yet.
Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Hawkbit on September 19, 2008, 12:27:11 PM Those are handled under the Menu in the game. It's pretty much like WoW's macro system.
Assist is: /assist <playername> Without the <>, of course. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Riggswolfe on September 19, 2008, 12:29:41 PM Yeah, I know how to get into the window but don't have a command list I suppose. Or is there one in this window somewhere?

This is Revolution KTH - it's a really cool healing and damage assist train mod, i'll be doing a writeup with screenshots and stuff when I get home. Title: Re: UI Mods Post by: Draegan on September 22, 2008, 08:02:16 AM http://war.curse.com/downloads/details/13734/
I posted this in another thread because I was dumb and blind and didn't see this one. Anyway the original author of SCT for WOW made a version for WAR.
