I've sent, like, seven or so e-mails and made a phone call to Gamestop, but of course, they handed out all their CE keys to non-CE people. I sent an e-mail to Mythic now, as well, and I'll be calling Gamestop again. This is friggin' unacceptable, and it's dumb. They've never screwed up on a preorder like this for me, but wow. I called several times, and they told me it was a privalige not a right to get the preorder bonus, so I emailed Mythic and they said this: Quote Dear (removed) Everyone who purchases a Collector's Edition is entitled to a code card. If you preordered your Collector's Edition in a store and did not receive one, then please contact Game Stop. Should you have any issues regarding GameStop, simply email them (help@gamestop.com) and they will promptly respond to your request. You may also call the GameStop.com Customer Service Center at (800) 883-8895 and a representative will assist you. Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (CST); Saturday - Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (CST) Thank you for your support of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning! (Removed) Mythic Entertainment, an EA Studio www.camelotherald.com www.warhammerherald.com So I wrote back to GameStop and included the Mythic email stating that in fact I should get the preorder bonus. Quote Hello, I was told by Mythic Entertainment to contact you here regarding my Collectors Edition Pre Order Keys. I went in to the shop to collect my Preorder box and the employee told me they only had one kind. It turns out it was the SE preorder. After that I called your customer support and they told me the preorder was a free bonus provided by Gamestop and that I was only entitled to it while they remained in stock. I then contacted Mythic, and as you can see what I was told by your customer support is in error. Mythic told me to send an email to this address and that you would fix the problem. Date the reservation was placed: Store # / Transaction # - Register # (located to the far right on the receipt, after the date, it will be in this format 00000/00-000): - Amount paid on the original reservation - Also, we will need your physical shipping address if we are able to mail something out to you. Sincerely, Travis Customer Service Agent About 4 days after providing the information needed, they email me my CE codes. I hope this helps you in some way. If I don't hear back with a key from Friday, I'm calling again.
We'll see what happens. Title: Re: Gamestop still hasn't provided CE Pre-order key Post by: Abelian75 on August 26, 2008, 04:14:28 PM Yeah, I waited a month on the EA Store and eventually submitted a ticket on their website, which was responded to with an annoying "it will be out to you before the preorder beta starts" to which I responded, "the beta has already started." They never responded to that. I eventually called their corporate office and talked to some EA Store rep who forwarded the complaint to their boss, and eventually got the keys that way.

So I called them, and it turns out they were trying to e-mail me at nonentty instead of nonentity. MY E-MAIL ADDRESS DOES HAVE THE WORD TIT IN IT Anyways - got the keys, plugged them in. I did not think it would matter, but yesterday I find out that CE gets to play 2 days earlier then SE.
Naturally all the Gamestops near me are out of pre-order boxes. CE or otherwise. Anyway a request. Does anyone here with a CE pre-order enabled account want to trade me for my lowly SE pre-order account. Of course everyone wants to play sooner rather then later. But I'm hoping someone has a CE enabled account but will be busy, out of town, or just unable to play for the first few days of the headstart. Noteworthy: CE Headstart is Sunday - SE is Tuesday - Main launch Thursday. If you pre-ordered either version from Gamestop you might have the CE codes. Just look at the card with the codes. At the top if it says "Thank you for pre-ordering Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collectors Edition" You have the CE codes.
