With Keanu Reeves as Klaatu. The trailer makes it look like Independence Day, rather than the awesome film with a message that was the original. His characters are not many-dimensional and his roles are specifically chosen for him, but he delivers in his "Keanu" way. I'd like him in a Frank Miller based movie, or something like that Animatrix "Detective" cut. He would be perfect.

It's a bit like David Bowie, he plays things that aren't human much better than actual people.
