Title: PS3 advice Post by: fuser on July 10, 2008, 11:18:50 AM Looking for some sage advice/info, but off the top here's some notes:
* I have a back catalog of PS2 games I still play from time to time. * I really really like GT5 prologue and will have a PS3 for GT5 * My PS2's drive has been threating death over the past year (its a launch PS2 and has served me well) With that I'm trying to avoid temptation to buy the 40gb PS3 and tough it out till the next PS3 bundle. I cannot find an 80gb PS3 anywhere new, nor a 60gb (yeah, not going to have any luck there). Question is when is the next 80gb bundle? Any news if BC is totally gone off the next 80gb's? Title: Re: PS3 advice Post by: Mrbloodworth on July 10, 2008, 11:40:56 AM What about the metal gear solid bundle (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0014WJ78E/ref=dp_olp_3)? AFAIK it has 80g, and Backwards compatibility (?), AND you get the dual shock sixaxis.

Little Big Planet will have an 80GB bundle this holiday season. Gamecrazy and Gamestops periodically get in 60GB PS3s used. It's worth calling around and asking. Title: Re: PS3 advice Post by: Mrbloodworth on July 10, 2008, 11:44:19 AM I do not know what ps3's have BC anymore =(

Thanks, I didn't know if the MGS bundle was a one shot deal with no refresh. (Thanks too Mrbloodworth) Question about used, any risk ala the Xbox of banned one's general wear/tear to watch out for?
