For courier contracts, 10% of the value of the stuff usually gets picked up and delivered. Of course, you can also just pay 10% more for buying stuff from the local markets, same effect on your wallet. Or put up a buy order for the modules you need, at 10% more than the average sell cost, in the station where you want them (buy orders for ships will probably not get filled that fast). Collateral should be a bit over the value of the shipment so it doesn't get ganked.
That's a rather long haul, but it should move quickly at that ratio.
