Title: Mother's day gift ideas? Post by: Oban on May 09, 2008, 03:37:15 PM Racking my brains at the moment, trying to decide between an espresso machine and a donation/membership to a museum she likes.
Any suggestions? http://www.kewego.com/video/iLyROoaftIgp.html (http://www.kewego.com/video/iLyROoaftIgp.html) Title: Re: Mother's day gift ideas? Post by: Jashan on May 09, 2008, 05:45:53 PM Flowers man, flowers. Walking through their door with a big ol' bouqet is all it takes to get their little mother's heart go pitter pat. At least that is all it takes in my family. YMMV.

Or if you live nearby, take her out. Title: Re: Mother's day gift ideas? Post by: Samwise on May 10, 2008, 09:19:19 AM If your mom's anything like my mom, the espresso machine. Definitely the espresso machine.
I think I might have worn out caffeine-themed gifts over the past couple of years, though, so I'm trying to come up with a new schtick. It's hard to shop for someone who has no free time. Flowers are great whether a person has free time or not. The most important thing though is to call or visit and spend some time with her. Title: Re: Mother's day gift ideas?
