That's what I get for trying to look up how to do set an image display size in SMF instead of just making my own smaller version!  (Protip: SMF won't take non-integers as display sizes :uhrr:.)

Anyway, on the main laptop:

From my new laptop toy. I don't recall where I got the desktop image from - I just picked it out of a directory of 1920x1200 desktops I downloaded a few months back for my gaming rig.

I'm using the "World at Night" picture from the Awesome Pictures thread. I see no need to link it

Hey, I used to have that one.

I never post my desktop in these threads for fear of people mocking my icon clutter.

This is what my wallpaper has right now.  The rest of the Mac's screen is a simple dark grey and the usual docky bits at the bottom.

Is it about Spring? Sort of when you consider the patch date. However, it's the only WoW Wallpaper I have ever found cool looking.

Looks like a bad cover for a metal album.

While I've always found the Blizzard art really technically proficient, I find it terribly ugly at the same time.

Normally, I do too, but this one jumped out at me as neat looking.

Number 8 of the 11 wallpapers with the Nine Inch Nails "Ghosts" $5 download.

It's autumn here (that's "fall" for illiterates).

Wallpaper of Phantasy Star 2 love deleted

I keep being tempted to download this on the Wii VC because I loved this game so very very much.  But then I remember this was back in the day when the first thing all JRPG's expected you to do was to take two steps out of the opening city and kill the same level 1 mob for 20 hours or so as a "tutorial".   But god I loved this game.

Bwt, thanks IainC for that link to windowsblind. Using the shareware version atm and I love the Peaen look. Did you actually purchase the full non-time-limited version?

Also, love the 7 samurai picture. I would use it for my desktop, but it doesn't scale to widescreen well.

Lastly, here's my desktop.

Not sure! I found the pic unlabeled, but both sites were done by Frank Gehry. I guess that's all that matters.

I keep a folder of images I like from there, OSX shuffles through them every five minutes. My fiancee has a much better setup, because she has a 4:3 monitor (I've got a 16:10 Dell). She has the massive folder of thousands of vacation pics I've taken over the years, which is really nice as a screensaver that Ken Burns through the folder randomly every ten seconds or so.

Fuuny that I also just found WindowBlinds. Very cool program. Here is my first desktop. Its designed to make my windows work more like OS X, for ease of use when coming home from work.

I have 4 other themes I have been using also. I'll post some more pics next time I change.
