Title: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: Venkman on March 03, 2008, 11:42:27 AM I've got close to 2,800 in LPs. Not sure how I got that many since the missions I've been doing are in the 70-100 range. In any case, all I see to have available right now are a bunch of small implants.
I've typically been implant shy because of their price. But at 375lp, they seem more viable. Are the viable, or should I consider saving LPs for bigger items? Title: Re: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: JoeTF on March 03, 2008, 12:02:05 PM they are definetly not viable for anything. Best ISK for LP should be faction ammo, other than that *some* mid level specialized implants. Attribute implans are waste of your time, every newbie in empire makes them and due to that they're worth less than LP spent to npc buyorders.
Title: Re: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: IainC on March 03, 2008, 12:09:26 PM When you check the LP store make sure it's set to show all and not just show affordable (you'll need to set the default, then close and reopen it because re-querying databases is hard). If it's set to show affordable then it will only show you items that you meet the pre-reqs for - LPs, cash and items. For most things from the LP store except skill books and implants, you'll need to swap stuff as well as cash and LPs. Faction ammo for example costs you regular ammo plus LPs plus cash. if you don't have the requisite items in your hangar (and not inside crates either) then the rewards won't be visible.

Like if I wanted to make some cash on my LPs what normally sells well? I see that faction ammo sells for 33% - 100% more than it costs which seems ok but not like it will keep you in milk and honey.

I happily buy them from the LP store. :)Title: Re: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: lac on March 03, 2008, 11:10:30 PM Sisters of Eve scan probe launchers (the exploration one) were the best bang for the buck last time I checked. 14400LP +10mil and they sold for 50-70mil. They might have gone down in price in the last months.
Title: Re: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: JoeTF on March 03, 2008, 11:28:55 PM Yeah, but I assumed that since he was asking what to do with lp, he wasn't doing missions for the most obscure npc corporation in EVE:)
Title: Re: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: Megrim on March 03, 2008, 11:29:24 PM I was checking the LP store today and i found that +4 implants go for about 20-24 mil on the market, and cost 10k LP + 10 mil ISK. So that's about a 10 mil profit on each implant. No idea if it's worth it though.

At 4k+ lp for every mission I probably should start selling more of those launchers now I think about it.Title: Re: Loyalty Point stuff Post by: bhodi on March 04, 2008, 05:31:38 AM Faction torps / cruises / heavy missiles were the best last time I checked caldari.
The magic number is 1000 isk per LP, so try to get close to or above that, and you know you've got a decent deal. Ammo, Navy hardners, implants, guns and etc... Maybe I'll take an hour or two tonight and see what the math turns up. There is no way in hell I'm grinding LPs up for a Navy Megathron, that's for sure. |
