Title: Bat Country for LOTRO
Post by: Reg on February 27, 2008, 01:39:04 AM
Does such a thing exist? Most the other MMOGs seem to have an F13 guild or at least a semi-offical server to use but I don't see anything about that here...

I'm thinking of trying out the free trial so I was wondering what server I should get onto.

I don't think there is an official one.  Only a handful of us play it now.
If you get on Arkenstone, give me a shout, names Imrahan.  :-)

I figured what the hell - it's a free trial and made an account. Only to find out I can't you know, talk to anyone via tells.

What an annoying restriction.

Just form a fellowship and you can chat with the people in the fellowship. The restriction is part of their attempt and stopping gold selling spam, sucks but it certainly works.

Say what?  If I didn't accept it's because I automatically turn down invites without a tell.  Be sure to tell me f13 or something so I know you are an ok dude.

I'm a minstrel, I get a lot of random invites.

Apologies.

I'm guessing he can't send you a tell because he's still on a trial account.

I'm downloading the trial right now. It should be done in 3 or 4 hours. Is Arkenstone still the server where there are some active F13ers?

What an annoying restriction.

Its an anti-gold selling measure.

Pick your annoyance.

I'm still on Arkenstone.  Someone else here is as well but I haven't caught him online.
Imrahan-50  Min
Tannhauser-29 LM

Holler at me or send me your names and I'll holler at you.  We can knock out some of your quests and I can show you around and whatnot. :)

I am on Silverlode - I have characters ranging from 21-37.  My champion hit 21 last night - I am finding the class to be MEGA FUN!

I've got Wildefast the hobbit  burglar on Arkenstone right now. He's level 7. I'm going to take him a few more levels and then try another class. I'm sure it's too early to decide but I'm not sure if the burglar class suits me.
