 Under the terms of the deal, which has been arranged with Havok owner Intel, approved game developers on the PC platform will be able to execute a commercial distribution license with Havok for free.

They have to fight off Aegia PhysX running on nVidia 8xxx cards.

Eh, no. I don't think they are worried. IT's more about the Fact that they have new technologies coming out, that work on top/with the basic engine.

Its all about physical penetration.

Sounds like it will be free for people who couldn't otherwise afford it, which is pretty common in specialized software.
