It was my girlfriend.

Here's a picture of her.

Take comfort in the fact that that fine ass is probably not Catherine Zeta-Jones'.

Well... that means there is only one man who can solve the crime...

Clouseau is the best. (Add Clouseau to spell-checker, plzkthx)

I own the Pink Panther DVD box set (the movies, not the cartoons, although the cartoon one is next on my list), and the Mancini theme song is my ring tone.

Now back to that art heist, two Picasso's were stolen a week prior, also in Switzerland, and these galleries were not on a high alert of some sort? I don't know about you, but I would think that burglars still at large would pose a threat. Perhaps they didn't think that the thieves would have the gall to try again so soon. Of course, that's assuming it's the same people. I smell an inside job.

Oh, and a white van? How cliché.

I've seen Mr. Bean's butt.  That's NOT him.

In all seriousness, this is what I wish I did for a living.

"As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a gangster."

You want to be a debonair international art thief or a ignorant Italian mafia thug?  For some reason I don't lump them in the same catagory.  Of course, this is purely from the position on the sofa watching films.  They could be the same sort of people, for all I know, but that's not how I perceive them.

No, international art thief. Grave robber would be fine too. I think the second industry's a bust at this point though. :-)

I don't have it in me to be a thug. Not anymore at least. The quote is still suitable though. Henry Hill and friends pulled off the biggest heist at the time (Lufthansa)... Which, of course, wasn't clever or neat in any way. But a heist all the same. It's just that Good Fellas is full of great quotes about criminals and "not working" in general..

"For us to live any other way was nuts. Uh, to us, those goody-good people who worked shitty jobs for bum paychecks and took the subway to work every day, and worried about their bills, were dead. I mean they were suckers. They had no balls. If we wanted something we just took it. If anyone complained twice they got hit so bad, believe me, they never complained again."
