There are no feats of strength this year. Too many people got disqualified from them. The f13 Mitchell Report will be published January 13th, 2008.

Here are my sports grievances for 07: (I'm doing a section on sports, then games, then you people)

I hate Tony Kornhole. He is just the focal point of everything that is wrong with MNF now.
I hate celebrities or frankly ANYONE other than announcers doing the lineup announcements in games. It's horribly stupid. No I don't care if your nickname is Tuna Fish and you went to the fucking "U".
I hate the BCS.
I hate that the Rose Bowl is a bunch of old bastards who selected a second tier team because they are in the Big Ten. That game has the highest spread of any of the bowls and will ROYALLY suck because of that call.
I hate that baseball players still continue to deny they did steroids. Fuck you. You got caught. Stop it.
I hate that baseball let it get this far.
I hate that Barry Bonds is the home run recordholder until he gets thrown in jail. I can't wait for that day when his smear of evil is wiped of Aaron's true record.
I hate that the NHL is still stupid enough not to cut a deal with ESPN.
I hate that Georgia needed Tennessee to lose for a month to have a shot at the SEC Championship, and then when we actually need them to win, they lose.
I hate the Patriots and their Humble Pie. 50+ points isn't humble, dickweeds.
I hate any and all teams that have an affiliation with New York...still.
I hate the NBA.

Happy Festivus.

I'm going to go with a completely random personal attack, well random for me at least since I've never actually even interacted with the guy before but whatev...

Fuck you to Geldon. Somehow in under 2 months version 2 of you has almost managed to post here more than I have in the last 3-4 years.

Maybe I have nothing interesting to say but damn man you just say to fucking much all the fucking time.

British Stag/Hen parties.

I only recently found out that these bands of roving, drunken, puking jackasses exist, and jesus fucking christ do I hate them.  Way to give everyone in the city a completely valid reason to hate English speaking foreigners!

I also hate the fact that I know more about English grammar than 98% of native speakers but I still make stupid grammatical and spelling errors all the time here.  :uhrr:

The ones in the states tend to go to a single, predicatable location and not go hit up 10 different bars and clubs in a night (in my experience, at least), which makes them easily avoidable.

They also aren't known for starting fights in the states.  Most of the fights I've seen in bars and clubs here that have any sizable amount of foreigners have involved at least one member of a drunken stag party, easily identifiable by the matching clothes or costumes.

Really, I just don't like stupid drunk tourists (from any country), but it IS kind of my fault for choosing to live in Prague.   :uhrr:

I am getting the fuck out of here during the summer months though.  No way I'm putting up with those hordes.

We're supposed to be airing grievances about each other here, not stupid things that we already bitch about year round.  WHERE IS YOUR FESTIVUS SPIRIT?

So I guess my grievance is that other people's grievances (and non-grievances, you heathen derailers) are lame.  UD_Delt almost got it right, but he used "to" instead of "too" two times, so it's a wash.

Same rules as golf.  That means no blacks, no jews, and the only brown people had better be fucking cutting the grass.

So fuck you jewboy, you already had your holiday, and unless you're one of them nygro jews celebrating kwanza, stay the fuck out of our Festivus thread!

You might have noticed I cut back severely on my posting over the past couple days.  That's no coincidence.  Frankly, my forum-lurking had reached such epic levels that not only was everybody getting pissy at me but I was starting to get pissy in return.  (Particularly at the more anal retentive ones - you know who you are.)

Sadly, I had forgotten the lessons gained since version 2.0.  Lurking about forums, getting upset with people... well, life is just too short for that (particularly if people are pooling their money together to send Ironwood over to shorten it further).

But enough of this.  I air my grievances enough year-round without usurping this thread as well.  I'm already over my designated daily post limit by two, perhaps I'll take tomorrow off.

Festivus was indeed created by Jews to mock other religions sense of Merry.

Only a Jew could create something as awesome as festivus anyway.

Fuck you geldon, fuck you darksign, and fuck you cheddar for disappearing for 3 months.
Stole the words right out of my mouth.

My grievances:

I hate that my ex still thinks I should act like her boyfriend despite the fact that I keep telling her it's FUCKING OVER.
I hate that I'm 23 and having to deal with that.
I hate that there are people in my classes who talk like they know shit and they manage to fail a course based on powerpoint.
I hate that I have more debt than I should at 23.
I hate that the debt hasn't netted me a new TV.
I hate that my roomies girlfriend is excited to bring her Wii back from the states.
I hate that she thinks she's going to be playing it all the time. On my TV. FUCK. NO.
I hate Geldon 2.0. I don't even read his posts, but he annoys me.
I hate my ex for being psycho.
I hate that Schild laughs at me. Only because I know it really is that funny.

No fuck all y'all here. Cliche. Plus, some really great people here. Don't we make another thread to say what you like? Or some such.

My grievances...

To Bioware for not making Mass Effect 20x bigger
To EA for buying up every game company instead of putting out good games themselves.
To Mythic for not letting me into the WAR beta.  I'm VERY disappointed Mark!
To Hellgate London for sucking so bad at launch.  Subway faction? Really?
To HD-DVD and Blu-Ray for their format war.  Unless I can see any movie I want in HD I'm not buying.
To my company for firing two employees because it was 'perceived' they were expendable (I'm now doing both their jobs).
To Ed McMahon for not bringing a big check to my front door.  I thought I fucking already won Ed!
To the folks on the f13 political forum for their lack of morals.

My gaming grievances list:

I hate that Puzzle Quest wasn't released on the PC along with the demo. I had to wait forever.
I hate that the project to fix KOTOR II still isn't done yet.
I hate that there's no KOTOR III.
I hate that WoW continues to mess up AV no matter what they do.
I hate that WoW continues to follow the release-and-nerf approach to 10 man instances. I don't mind this in 25 mans as much.
I hate that WoW fucks over certain classes by forcing specs down their throat for groups.
I hate specs.
I hate that I haven't found another single player RPG worth playing all the way through on the PC since Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
I hate consoles.

Happy Festivus.

Fuck you to Japanese console game developers.

Specifically for the usual 2-6-10 minutes of non-interactive cutscenes chained together (perhaps with a menu in there somewhere) at the start of their fucking games with endless backstory I really don't give that much of a fuck about. Non-Japanese devs do the same thing, but not as often, painfully long or long-winded as the fucking Japanese.

I hate that I've had a nasty pain in the neck for the past couple days, but I love that it's put me in foul of enough mood to do this thread for reals.

I hate that I'm such a impulsive wanker that I waste so much time browsing boards when I could be playing games, studying, or learning how to program and design.

I hate that you took away my edit button for no reason other than because it bothered people that I like to clarify and rehash my messages to truly obsessive compulsive degree.

Finally, I hate that I'm apparently so bad at forums that many of you fucking jackasses misconstrue all the shit I'm saying and take it as me blathering on about stuff I don't understand.  Well fucking bite me, just because I don't expel the exact vibe you want to hear doesn't mean it's wrong to say it.  I'd wish you death in car fires if the pyric brain mutilation from all the infernos in the world ever had a chance of straining the ignorance from your myopic mental masturbatory misery.

Merry Christmas, everyone. :pedobear:

Ill go hates than likes.  Since for the first time in at least 5, maybe 6 years I do not have to work Christmas or Christmas Eve.
I do have to work New Year's Eve but I am not a drunk so who cares?

I hate that doctors are happy to charge me money to only tell me they can't figure out why the fuck I hurt.
I hate gamblers and gambling.  Too bad dealing with you irrational smoking, drinking, moneywasting fuckbags is how I pay my bills.  Yall could at least not be cunts about it.  Or tip more.  Or know when to fucking quit.  Or to take 10% of what you shit away and give it to charity.  WORLD HUNGER WOULD BE ALMOST IRRADICATED IF YOU ASSHOLES DID.
I hate that I just used the C word.
I hate that I will be using it again in this list.
I hate that Something Awful nearly made me into an endless hate machine.  Luckily I got the fuck out while I was still just my usual douchebaggy self.
I hate RPGnet for being a bunch of hyperliberal pussies who almost make Bill o Loofalafel sound like someone not in need of multiple steel toed boots to his balls.
I hate Electronic Arts for the usual reasons.
I hate Fox News.
I hate Republicans for being a bunch of soulless moneygrubbing warmongering assholes.
I hate Democrats for being a bunch of pussies only slightly less cunty than the cocksmokers above.
I hate that people treat each other like shit for no good reason.
I hate Dungeons & Dragons 3.x and Magic the Gathering.
I hate the people who play the 2 above listed games even more.
I hate all gangster and thug videogames.  Fuck you Rockstar.
I hate RPG Codex for bitching about Fallout 3 and Oblviion so much.  NMA does it well enough for the entire Internet.
I hate when I drive 30 minutes to play Warhammer 40K and can't get a game in because nobody is playing or already in a game at 430pm on a Wednesday.  Jeez!
I hate that anime is all creepy and  :pedobear: instead of being about kickass robots and hot ADULT women with big fuckin guns and go go boots.
I hate that anime fans have decided its not creepy enough, meaning I dare never look for fanart of anything, EVER on the internet without Google Safesearch enabled.
I hate the fact I can't even get a date through the fuckin personals.
I hate being on a diet for over a year but only losing 50 of the 70 pounds I wanna lose.  FUCK YOU LAST 20 POUNDS.  IM HUNGRY AND BITTER AND DON'T GET TO EAT ANY CHRISTMAS CANDY SO GTFO.
I hate that I spent over 70 bucks on my cousin and uncle for Christmas and their gift in return was a 4 fucking dollar tin of popcorn.  IM ON A FUCKING DIET AND YOU GIVE ME SNACK FOOD?  Jesus what a pile of shit!

(This space reserved for other stuff.)

Good stuff:
Schild, whose inane Wii hate is 5 minutes of happy good time amusement for me almost every day.
My tabletop gamegroup who will play almost anything I bring up.  Car Wars, Ogre, Battletech against a Gingerbread House, Twilight Imperium, Squad Leader... the list goes on and on.
My iMac because its awesome.
(This space reserved for other stuff.)

I apologize in advance if any of the following statements come off as a lot of emo crying, or if I somehow pull a fucking Hyu. Admins may feel free to delete this post in its entirety:

I hate that fucking NJ girls (and by extension I'm going to guess most east coast/northeasterners) think they are So Fucking Badass and Hot Shit, when they are not.
I hate that the dept. I work at for the bank is a fucking barren wasteland when it comes to...dating opportunities. Somehow, between the one chick who is awesome but completely stuck in a 7+ year relationship (not like I would have "first shot" if that were to change anyway), all the retarded old women who can't do their job, and the one single chick who is a fucking drama queen, not very intelligent, and only mildly good looking - there's no decent women to hang out with. At all.
I hate that the only decent women (at least on the surface) that I see at all during the day work in other departments that make at least 50% more than I do.
I hate that I get the exact same pay as fuckwits with no college education; sure, it'll help somewhat when/if I try to move up, but that doesn't help pay the bills NOW.
I hate that you will never meet ANYONE working part-time at Gamestop (ok, that one is a no brainer).
I hate that I am so inconsistent at bowling, and then get accused of sandbagging. SORRY IF I SUCK, assholes.
I hate that people refuse to DRIVE THE FUCK FORWARD in the morning. FFS, please to stop jamming on your brakes, just let off the gas, asshats.
I hate that, until I get a much better job, I have zero chance of paying off one of my credit cards' balance.
I hate that it is mathematically impossible for me to move out of the walk in closet my room in my mother's house at this time. I don't even necessarily want to, I just hate that I don't even have the option.
I hate that the Rosetta Stone program I want is like $300, though I can't really blame them; quality doesn't come cheap.
I hate that so many women are fucking batshit insane by default.
I hate that I pretty much can't even afford to date anyone right now.
I hate that there's no one I can even try to date right now.
I hate that it's entirely possible that neither of the previous 2 statements are going to change anytime soon.
I hate that the Flyers have had some really shitty luck lately. Also, inconsistent play.
I hate that I am so fucking awkward and there's not a god damn fucking thing that can be done about it.
I hate that it's going to start snowing here soon, so the traffic will only get worse.
I hate how certain of my superiors at work don't realize how much job actually works. FFS, if you give one part of the dept lots of OT to take in new work, you need to give me OT to process it. Or stop bitching about the mess.
I hate that 95% of the time my mood can be described as being somewhere between "mildly unhappy" and "catastrophic."
I hate that I really can't think of anything meaningful to put in the next section...

Good Stuff:
Um...

Some of the 360 games I've bought this year are awesome?

Speaking of which?  I hate geek sexism (http://blog.shrub.com/archives/tekanji/2006-02-04_136).

I hate the fact that the people doing the best bipartisan work in Congress to improve Sino-American relations, Reps Rick Larsen (D) and Mark Kirk (R), will never get a lick of credit for it in their home districts because people are nativist douchebags who love all the benefits our relationship with China brings but still want to pretend to see the nation as a threat.

I hate the fact that people run for office on 'Washington is the problem' bullshit, when 99% of the people coming up with the solutions are inside-the-Beltway DC operator types, and it's the rubes from flyover country, as well as entrenched interests that nobody could simply wish away if they wanted to, that tend to fuck things up.

I hate the people who protest the genocide in Darfur.  Yes, it's a genocide in Darfur.  No, elected officials aren't going to do anything about it other than posture.  You fucking knew this from the get-go, if you read We Wish To Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed Along With Our Families or any of the other popular histories of Rwanda.  If you lifestyle-activist fuckers had spent your time courting rich businessmen and other private-security operators to fund private security forces in-country, you might have actually done some good and saved some innocent people from getting killed.  And don't give me bullshit about how that's infeasible; private security forces have operated extralegally in all sorts of places in Africa where they haven't been welcome, and if you really care about stopping genocide, you have a pretty fucking huge moral imperative to do what it takes to make shit happen, far beyond just showing up at a rally with a pretty sign and maybe getting laid by some fellow upper-middle-class liberal idealist in the process.  Just be honest with yourself, admit you really don't care that much about genocide and move on.

I hate my uber-Republican friend who received triple-X rated IM's from Mark Foley years ago back when he was a House page.  On the day the Mark Foley story broke, I messaged him to ask if he'd finally grown some balls and turned Foley in.  The response?  "Are you kidding?  I'd never endanger the Republican Majority like that."  He was one of a few people the press contacted and publicly denied it -- and it wasn't even the first time he'd been in a situation like that with an elderly Republican!  ("A decent amount of my college tuition is paid for with hush money", he once put it.)  And of course they'll all vote to ban gay marriage to 'keep our families strong'.  Fuckers.

Final thought for the year: I hate Asian fetishists.  With a fucking passion.  Beyond the fact that it's still plain-and-simple racism even if it's intended to be 'nice', and beyond the fact that my girlfriend (who's Vietnamese-American) has to put up with these fuckers on a fairly regular basis, I hate that simply because I'm Caucasian, dating a girl who happens to be Asian-American, and I'm studying Mandarin Chinese for strictly work-related reasons, I get lumped in with these fuckers.  Knowing that about 20% of the people in your life (rough estimate based on how many say something about it outright), including some who are very close to you, are under the mistaken impression that your incredible 5-year-long relationship is the result of a racially-based fetish puts you go through a long cycle of shock, then rage, then sadness, and finally resignation that there's not really shit you can do about it.  It is not fun.

Bonus hate:  For girls who filter whom they will or won't date based on ethnicity.  According to studies this is quite common, and it perpetuates the problem.

Oh, and I hate schild for not moving the DDO forum back to active status.  We've got at least as much of a constituency as the CoX crowd!

All in all, I'm  pretty content.  This year had balance to it.

Although, if I had unfettered banning ability, this board would eventually end just being me writing haikus in the Den.  A few may survive, but just those that are really good at hiding.

I hate you for that then.

As for the rest of you bastards:

I hate that Way gets to play poker in Vegas and is much better at it than I am. I just suck at it now.
I hate that Schild's pump and dump routine on certain media releases. Consistency or Conservatism on the front end is probably a better idea.
I hate that SnakeCharmer drank the Kool-Aid over Alabama, then got pissy, then for some reason insulted Mexicans, then just went back to being generally SEC happy, all in one thread.
I hate that we still have the need for a Politics forum, even though I'd never want it to cease to exist and taint the rest of the forums with overflow.
I hate that we have too many subforums. Honestly, everything is so pigeonholed now, I'll never learn anything cool about stuff directly outside my own sphere of interest. Sure there are probably some great threads going on in those forums, but I can't always sift through all the crap I don't give a shit about. The days of just a "Gaming Forum" made me a lot happier. Subforums for MMOGs are fine though.

That's it for now I think.

I hate that a bunch of people don't think I should be allowed to get hyped for a shitload of games and then be let down. I'm sorry your parents BEAT THE FUN OUT OF YOU.

I hate that people think they're somehow welcome here. Luckily, it's the sort of thing that can be fixed.

I hate that I see people in the industry every day who are so terribly not great at their jobs.

I hate that developers are shocked by low sales when advertising and buzz sucks. Learn your audience, noobcakes.

I hate that we haven't had an even remotely decent virtual world since SW:G.

I hate flying. Not because I'm scared of it. But because of the other people.

I hate this Diet. Alternatively, I love that I've lost about 60 lbs. 20 to go, bitches.

I hate that the best thing in my life is bacon salt. Following a close second, f13.

I hate that some people are probably going to bitch and moan when I announce the new f13 staff member this week.

I hate that people can't follow directions in threads (see: Top 20, Top MMOGs, etc). Sometimes, this includes me. And I really fucking hate that.

I hate that I can't find sushi grade tuna when I go shopping but sushi shops always have five different kinds.

I hate the Console vs. PC gaming debate. Quit trying to justify your elite gaming PC you spent 3 - 4x the amount a PS3 would cost by using words like Consolitis. You're missing out on a lot of good gaming, more good gaming than is on the PC currently.

I hate the Schild bait threads. We know he doesn't like the Wii, we know you do. We know he likes the PS3, we know that you think it's over-priced. Guess what? It isn't you fucking retards. When highend PC cost is explained because 'it does more than play games', so does the PS3 you chucklefucks. Rag on it for not having games however, that's pretty valid.

I hate that I've had my 360 for almost 2 years and I'm still worried every time I turn it on that it'll die on me.

I hate that I hope it does because I still have a replacement extended warranty up until March.

I hate that I'm such a poor writer, sometimes I would just like my posts to make more sense.

I hate RPG Codex for bitching about Fallout 3 and Oblviion so much.  NMA does it well enough for the entire Internet.

1st of all both those games deserve more than the usual amount of bitching.
2nd of all NMA isn't the NMA of old...its a whinier, crappier, not as well-thought-out version of its old self.
3rd of all The Codex does Oblivion-bashing better than anyone. Ever.

Cheers to you for reading the best of all boards though.

I hate the fucking firewall I have to live behind at University, forcing me to run EPolicy Orchestrator annoys the crap out of me. I have perfectly good anti-virus and spyware programs, I don't want to use some shitty system intensive system that doesn't have an uninstall option just to go onto the internet. Also not letting me go online with games (including Steam) annoys the shit out of me. I've already paid for network access, I don't want to pay for an SSH tunnel client as well.
I hate that there are private forums here. I know nothing interesting goes on in them but damnit knowing about them pisses me off.
I hate Christians who 1)Think everyone who doesn't believe in their interpretation of the bible is going to hell 2) Honestly believes either evolution is scientifically dubious or that the Bible somehow gives us a more reliable  measure of the nature of the physical world.
I hate crazy women who think the world is designed for drama and that by upsetting another girl I'll somehow like them more.
I hate feeling bad every time I fire up a game because I know I could be cracking open a book and doing some research. I especially hate that this is generally a valid feeling.
I hate that Shoot 'em up managed to somehow fall below my expecations of an amusing film that features ridiculous stunts and lots of killing. Trying really hard to be ironic doesn't make a good film, especially not if you're not just going to make it a plotless gun battle.

Hrm.

Only thing I really hate is that I've let my ass overide my mouth a few times here and there (mostly on political things) and have probably made more enemies (or rather made people not like me) because of it with people that (outside of politics), I genuinely like and would like to be 'friends' with.  Or like as much as an internet forum allows.

Ah, to hell with it.  In the spirit of....

I hate that UGA beat Alabama.
... that Alabama went 6-6.
... Kool-Aid.
... that there really isn't an MMO that grabs my fancy, and the only reason I'm playing WoW is to fulfill my MMO habit.
... that I rarely get picked for betas, and when I do, it's generally right before open.
... that my 360 is about RROD.
... that every single MMO I get fanboish about ends up with a tremendous amount of suck.
... that every MMO I am fanboish about is 6 months to 2 years or more away.
... that I'm not as articulate as many here.
... that 2007 went by too Goddamned fast.
... that I have more projects than time - and they are all moneysinks.
... that my garage isn't bigger.
... that my wife is the sensible one when it comes to money.
... that there is no automotive forum (or interest) here.
... that the sympathy weight I put on when my wife got pregnant kept coming even after my son was born is too damn slow to come off.
... that I quit smoking because the urges are damn near impossible to overcome.
... that I haven't been hunting ONE time this year.
... that I made this list  :heartbreak:

I tried to order a game off Steam about an hour ago (Civ4 + Beyond the Sword for that FFH mod love), and my 'credit card information is declined'.  Annoying, but I figure it's because I have an U.S. card even though I'm in central Europe right now.

I call the credit card company (yay 24-hour support), try to figure out what the problem is, and I learn that yesterday someone here in the Czech Republic tried unsuccessfully to withdraw large sums of money from two different banks using my credit card number.  This is incidental, by the way; I asked the guy why my last purchase had been declined, and because the failed Steam purchase didn't even register on their system, he told me about what happened yesterday, otherwise I probably never would have heard about it.

I have absolutely no idea where this guy got my credit card number because I've used it about once in the past month, at a large department store, where the checkout girl saw my card for all of 5 seconds while swiping it.

So!  Here's to you, assclown who somehow got my credit card number (although not the verification or PIN number, thankfully), and to you, Mastercard, who didn't feel like telling me that someone tried FIVE TIMES in TWO DIFFERENT BANKS to withdraw thousands of dollars in my name.  Now I'm having all kinds of lovely identify theft scenarios flying through my head.

Merry Christmas Festivus!  :awesome_for_real:  :ye_gods:

My grievances are pretty much about switching jobs and immigration to the US.

Make of this what you will:

1. That you show every damn degree, certificate, or whatever to a chair jockey immigration guard at an airport.  This means removing the actual degrees from whatever frame you might have them mounted in, and somehow getting them on the plane and back in one piece.
2.  That you wait in line at very poorly maintained Social Service offices with a) people who patiently know the system and are just there for their turn, and b) irrational middle aged people who have a greater feeling of entitlement and spoil the goodwill of the attendants ahead of you.
3.  That you need to go to said offices n+1 times.
4.  That you can't get paid, drive a car, insure a car, get life insurance, get a mortgage, hell -- get a rental application and more without a social service number
5.  That is takes a 4-6 weeks for said social security # to be processed
6.  That no one will bother with your credit history if you came from Canada, the UK, Iraq, Mordor and probably Neptune.  They are all the same to US banks, and you are reset back to being in the financial ovum of pre-birth.
7.   That you need to get a new drivers license when you immigrate, even if your country is 1hr away and you have free trade agreement with... which meant written test (0.08 *is* the limit in WA State), and a ROAD test you have to schedule for 3-4 weeks in advance.

And some more.

All that said, the fact that EA bought Bioware 2 days before I was to get travel details for my onsite interview in Edmonton is probably my greatest grievance for 07.  But at the same time it made me take a better job and move to the US :)  So no contest even with all the grievances above.

So a happy ending.

My grievances have all turned into minor annoyances.  Age mellows you too much as you realize, 'Fuck him he'll be dead in 20 years anyway not worth bitching about,' and 20 years doesn't seem that long anymore.  Damn you all.

Ed:  Oh, I do, however, hate the after-Christmas "Blahs" that set-in for a day or so.  All that wind-up and it always feels so hollow and off-point when it's all done. I hate...

...Fox News for blurring the line between real life and a satirical cartoon.
...CEOs of all American companies, for helping to ram our economy into the ground while giving themselves bonuses for doing such an awesome job.
...China. You worthless paper tiger of a country. I just hope you finish yourself off with your unchecked industrial expansion and shitty social policies before you take the world economy with you. Even if I have to pay ten times what I do now for the stuff you used to make, you bet I'll be laughing hysterically when the coup comes and half the country is on fire.
...The Wii for not providing me with a single fucking game that justifies my purchase in 2007. A mediocre Mario title and ports of Gamecube titles don't cut the mustard.
...The PS3, because outside of Uncharted I haven't had a truly stellar experience on the then $500 Blu-Ray player yet. At least looking at my Wii doesn't give me that "you spent too much money on this thing" feeling in the pit of my stomach.
...The 360, because I'm still not buying one until they fix the red-ringing. And no, I'm not paying extra to get an Elite to avoid it. Fuck them.
...That I find myself incapable of really enjoying Christmas anymore. There honestly is no magic in it for me now.
...Dealing with colleges. Why do I have to be terrified of the process of simply signing up for classes?
...Insurance. My deductible resets after this month, nevermind I never hit it despite being sicker than I have been for a long time and having over 3 doctor visits. Wow, I get to pay $140 a month to NOT get any of my medication or office visits payed for!
...Every multiplayer FPS that came out this year that isn't Team Fortress 2.
...I hate Seinfeld.

Making Internet Enemies also does not make it go away.  This leads nicely into me saying that I don't think any of you have disappointed me this year.  Not much, anyway.

...I hate twisty tie engineers.  These are the fuckers that decide to put four dozen 8 gauge cables in a single toy box to ensure that nothing short of twenty pound wire cutters will free these things so that a three year old will stop dancing around and be able to actually enjoy the present that is sitting right in front of her.  Because, heaven forbid, the product move even a millimeter during shipping.  It's two days since I've had to undo any of those twisty things, and my fingers still hurt.  Fuck you.  And a double fuck you to the twisty tie engineers who think that not only do these things need to use 40lb stress cables to hold toys in place, not only do they need to tie them into elaborate knots (can't just twist the fuckers together... no, that would be too predictable for sleep-deprived parents), and not only do they sometimes feel the free to route these cables of pain INSIDE THE TOY, so that I have to take the damn thing apart to remove the cable... no, some of these fuckers decide that it would be brilliant to take several knots that are very close to one another and TIE THEM TOGETHER.  Because some child hating finger abusing sadistic mine the earth for all it's iron resources for packaging parent loathing scrooge headed pig fucker decided it would not only be fun to be mean, but decided that they should bundle several of these knots into some sort of Gordian Knot imitation.  Fuck you.  I would flip you off too, but my fingers still hurt to much.

What Sky said.  Even chimps use tools.  Yeah, it's shitty that shoplifters have ruined Christmas for everyone, but that's no reason to cause yourself undue stress.

Wire clippers. Fuck untwisting.

I mentioned that.  They do me no good when I'm at someone else's house who doesn't have them, or doesn't have easy access to them.  Also, it isn't much help when the wires fuck up the smaller variety, because they can't just use the thin stuff that's in actual twisty ties, but they have to use heavy cabling that could secure your car.

Sorry, I tried reading your entire paragraph but I failed miserably both times.  I also fast-forward to the end of Matlock episodes and Colombo specials.

Yes, but even we get tired at all this monkey-proof packaging these days. You can only poke at something with a stick for so long.

Oooh, I finally got one.

I hate how when someone misreads a post, insults you about it, and never comes back into the thread again to read your perfectly swift asskicking of a clarification and rebuttal... And then... Goes about his or her merry way for months under the delusion that you're an asshat, holding that one little bit of imagined idiocy against you.

Not enough people here who realize that the last 15 minutes of the Road Warrior is the greatest shit in cinematic history. Not enough 100 page threads about it.

Not enough talk about Rocky either.

And certainly not enough talk about music in general. Every one of those discussions craps out... Can't get even a fraction of the length of the shittiest kind of MMO related thread.

The same goes for console game discussions.

Yes.  This Sucks.

Also, people who are flat out wrong and ignore it, switching topics like your grand rebuttal of their very fucking existence didn't actually count.

Have you considered opening boxes and operating the wire cutters before you wrap?

I hate that video arcades aren't as popular in the States as they were when I was a kid.

I also hate that the games at the Dave & Busters here aren't even worth glancing at.

I hate that I can't find Geometry Wars at an arcade.

He's acting. He wrote Rocky. Stallone is actually a genius wit a 180 iq.

I hate bartenders that don't give you some leeway to stick around after hours to wait for some people, even if you tip them $100 a week. Bitches

edit: I hate bartenders in general. They think they're cool. Almost as bad as strippers.

Stallone would sound like an idiot if he was talking about how he just found the cure for cancer and it turned out to be real.

Yes, that would be helpful at someone else's house.

Stallone sounds like an idiot regardless of the circumstances.   His acting is pretty crappy, too.  As far as IQ is concerned... who DOESN'T have an IQ of at least 180?  Puh-lease.  I've seen his art... didn't like that, either.  Maybe his other Rocky films were brilliant.  I don't know.  I couldn't make it through the first one.  Luckily, films, art, and other Stallone-y stuff is easy to avoid so I guess it's not even really a grievance.  Just a useless and yet somewhat satisfying bitch-about.

Hard to not sound like an idiot when half your face is paralyzed.  Not a whole lot the guy can do about that.

He's actually quite a good actor. Sometimes. When the role asks for acting and he chooses to act.
To Wit: Cop Land. First Blood (not the later Rambo films).

I remember seeing a press conference for Cop Land with Bob de Niro and Sly. De Niro basically spent the whole thing telling people that Stallone was sorry for his past in making crappy action films and that he now intended to do some real stuff. It was most peculiar.

Saw Cop Land, and I thought he was high for most of the movie.  He had this blank, spaced out expression.  Was a decent movie, but not because of him.

Err... Stallone, not Stray.

I hate that I'm such a poor writer, sometimes I would just like my posts to make more sense.

I'm going to steal that one.

I hate that wighting was never a strong interest as a kid, now i have a hard to getting my point across to others when writing or typing. Even if i now enjoy writing.

Ill just draw you a picture.

I hate when people bring their children into Gamestop, they have no idea what they want, and then spend the next 10 minutes or so perusing the store, and making a mess as they go.

Also, people who can't control their children in public should be shot. Or struck sterile.

Well, I'm glad this site got some semblance of a Rocky discussion for once. That's one thing off of my grief list.
