Title: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: schild on December 06, 2007, 10:08:57 AM Sony has been really good about pumping shit out. So I'm just gonna dump the stuff into this thread. Where applicable, I'm going to use the Japanese information.
12/06/07 Folklore Packs: Quote Add-On Pack 1: “The Kidnapped Folk” (http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/5807/phost06va7.jpg) Set during the timeframe of the original story, this is your opportunity to return to Doolin – gateway to the Netherworld – and take Ellen and Keats’ extraordinary adventure a little bit further. The quests include a mission to recapture a kidnapped Folk and an attempt to regain the trust of Brumbear’s soldiers. The pack also includes a new look for Ellen and a Folk called Maximillian who has a mean cannonball attack. Quote Add-On Pack 2: “”Bottom of the Sea” (http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/2291/phost07hn8.jpg) Search the seabed for a mysterious item requested by Damona, get to the bottom of an accident that takes place in the Endless Corridor and complete the Wandering Thoughts mission started in “The Kidnapped Folk” Add-On. For Anime fans, Keats gets a “familiar” body suit that appears when he is in his “trancenscion” state and can face Phutcampus, a new Folk to defeat. $3.99 a piece or both for $5.99. Just a note: Japan has 6 volumes already, 2 promo downloads, and a christmas outfit set. = Beats//SCEE London (http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/5840/bordermr5.jpg) Given that I only have this image to go from since I'm at work, I'll guesstimate. Considering you bring your own mp3s into the game and it outputs the guitaroo-ish screen above, it seems pretty straight forward. Press the generated button presses with the song. Weeeeee. Probably be $5-$8. No straight PR yet. = High Velocity Bowling (http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/5830/ps3bowlingeh6.png) It's bowling. = Rock Band Packs Black Sabbath Pack 1 ($5.49) - N.I.B., Sweet Leaf, War Pigs (also available for $1.99 each) = If anyone wants to do a JPY or a EUR one, by all means. I figure this will be good for trading games as well (5 different system installs per game!) As that was about the only one in the series I've ever enjoyed or bothered playing all the way through, I was pleasantly surprised to see it. Alter Code F or whatever it was, sucked.

Holy bump. First week I think a bump is worthwhile since this one. Bourne Demo. Haze Demo. Grid Demo. PixelJunk Monsters Encore (Best Tower Defense Game Evah! Also, the hardest most infuriating fucking game on the planet) - This is an expansion for the original. Muse Track Pack for Guitar Hero 3. Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: Yegolev on May 13, 2008, 02:39:26 PM PixelJunk Monsters makes me want to punch the developers in the balls.
Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: schild on May 13, 2008, 04:24:33 PM It's so fucking hard and I love it.
Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: Yegolev on May 13, 2008, 05:14:22 PM Well, since the developers not only wished to but succeeded in punching me in the balls with their hard fucking game, I think it's only fair. I love the concept but I can't get past the fourth board.
Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: Velorath on June 24, 2008, 07:11:22 PM Looks like Square Enix is finally starting to put some of their stuff up on the Japanese PSN. From the thread on NeoGaf (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318089):
Quote Square Enix has announced in this month's Dengeki Playstation due out on Friday that they are committing to releasing their classics on PSN. Starting TODAY (25th June), they will release Xenogears and Einhander on PSN, for 600yen each. There are 12 key titles that they plan on releasing on Game Archives, starting with Xenogears. There isn't a clean full scan of the interview yet, so this is all I know right now to be 100% accurate. Discuss. Edit: The following titles are coming out TODAY, at 600yen each. They're all under the S-E label. Xenogears (Square) Einhander (Square) Astronoka (Enix) Rakugaki Showtime (Enix) Raystorm (Taito) Fighters Impact (Taito) Hopefully at least some of this will make its way over to the U.S.. Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: Mazakiel on June 24, 2008, 07:30:26 PM Xenogears will be nice to have, but I will fucking kill whoever I need to to get Einhander on the PSN over here.
Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: schild on June 25, 2008, 04:07:16 AM I would kill a small child to get Rakugaki Showtime in America. >_>
Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: Yegolev on June 25, 2008, 07:54:12 AM There was a time when it was possible to get a JP account on your PS3. I assume it still isn't blocked.

Title: Re: PSN Network Updates (US Only) (from 12/6 onwards) Post by: Samwise on June 25, 2008, 09:40:39 AM I have a random PSN question. Anyone know when the PSN store cards are coming out in the US? The stupid thing won't take my credit card.
