Ok, so trotski and I hook up online to team up against the CPU for a few games. Only I can't create a game with fewer than 3 Xboxes involved, and if we don't fill all the slots, the timer counts down and kills the session before the game starts. Can you seriously not play 2 players vs CPU online? We were able to do it playing on the same console together. If not, that is fucking stupid.

We did end up playing a few random pickup games and got pwned, but it was a helluva lot of fun anyway. Anyone who wants to team up, gimme a holler if you see me online. I can lose a faceoff like nobody's business. The only thing I really excel at is cheap shots and slashes after the whistle.  :oh_i_see:

If my bro-in-law ever got off my Xbox, I might actually be able to get a game in someday.

Tripping penalties are the ones that kill me.

Yeah, I get those too...I can't help but dive and try to block shots, and I will inevitably trip someone in the process. Did have a cool moment when I dove and tripped a guy on a breakaway in one of the MP games trotski and I played. Gave up a penalty shot, but Luongo stoned him.

I get tripping the most I think, from all the attempts to poke check and break up passes.

Ooh, I could probably be cajoled into picking this up for online play.

It sounded like you hadn't played online yet and thus hadn't done the roster updates (all online games require the most recent rosters so everyone is on the same page). It should work once you get them downloaded and saved, at least I would hope so.

I am considering venturing into the scary world of ranked games. I am sure there are all sorts of 13 year old kids itching to hand me my ass.

Well, I had the most recent (only) roster update, but I had altered them slightly for my Dynasty mode.

Trotski got that same 'updating rosters' thing a bit later, so maybe it is some sort of bug. Do you have the intact rosters save somewhere? If you have the original save, then alter shit and save it under your Dynasty, that shouldn't cause any problems, at least I wouldn't think so.

Has anyone tried creating a team yet? I dicked around for a couple of minutes and it looks pretty cool. Designing the ugly ass uniforms of the Seattle Shockers will be a lot of fun. Pity I can't find a 3 fingered logo...

Yeah, it appears my "normal use' rosters are back to the EA setup, while my Dynasty has the slightly altered rosters (ie - I'm on the Flyers  :grin:).
