It also looks like Infinium is late in paying some of its employees. At least they're suddenly talking about a closed beta in November. Beta testers can't complain due the NDA, so who knows. It's a possibility.

I just can't see a game based on a license that's pretty stale going anywhere. I mean 2 of the 3 movies were pretty underwhelming, and there's nothing going on with the license right now keeping the "Matrix World" in the public eye. No new movies, TV shows, books, anything. Game probably should have come out a couple years ago as people seem to have moved on. Are there really tons of Matrix fans rabidly anticipating this? There are crazed LOTR fans, SWG, Star Trek, etc. but I don't think the Matrix fanbase has anything close to that.
