Questions?

Any concerns?

Spec information?

Games worth playing?

Ask away.

Question, I hear the AV cable is "on backorder" but have not done much research.  I require TV OUT.  Is this a new item for the PSP or can the old one do TV OUT?

I don't require black, silver is fine.  If they have the same features, that is.

I don't require a list of games, however it would be nice.  I will be getting Loco Roco, already have Valkyrie Profile, the new bundle comes with Daxter.

1. Only the new one can do TV-Out. Target and Walmart have gotten component ($19.99) and composite cables ($14.99) in around the country.
2. Silver comes with Daxter and Family guy (like 3 episodes) and costs $30 more.
3. Jeanne D'Arc, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, Brave Story, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2, Riiiiiiiidge Racer, Wipeout, and uhmm.... I'm sure there are others, but I'm at work. Disgaea is due out in a month or so. So is Final Fantasy Tactics: Lion War Whatever.

Lumines/Lumines 2?  Pretty much mandatory for the platform I'd think, since it fills that 'pick up for 5 mins or 5 hours' need.

Edit:  Forgot about the awful soundtrack for 2.

I have decided that homebrew is not something I will ever bother with.  I don't do it now on anything else, in fact I have lots of trouble motivating myself to play PC games in DOSBox, so in the interest of KEEPIN' IT REAL I will get the new slim PSP.

Can you rate the potential (either immediately or in the near future) of the Slim being emulator compatable (I want my all in one portable SNES / GBA / Genesis etc)

How well does the web browser on the psp work?  I want a little portable device that can go on the web and do other cool stuff, and it looks like it's down to a psp or an ipod touch (it would be sweet to be able to play games as an added bonus ).
Is it annoying to enter urls without a keypad?  Does the psp do Flash?

Web browser is fine. As far as I know it handles flash fine. I use my phone for web browsing so uhm, yea. No clue about that.

I'm tempted to get one but I've been a little spend-happy lately. Jeanne D'Arc is very fun by the way, outside of how it encourages turtling on the map (my favorite strategy, but the game kinda punishes you for not doing it since you need Unified Defense to keep weaker units from dying in one hit).

Got it.  It is nice.  Flimsy in places?  Sure, but isn't everything?  Well, not the PS3, but for $200 I think this is great.

Got the bundle thing, have not booted Daxter or the Family Guy thing.  I did, however, register it with my PS3 and dicked around with Remote Play, then loaded Medievil onto it.  It is pretty cool to be able to access music, pictures and videos on my PS3 through the PSP, but it's sort of sad that I have to make my PS3 useless in order to do that.

Mostly I just played Loco Roco.  BAJUMBO MOI NOI NOI JECKER DABATO BUNKERGATE JUN JUN
