If only I had photoshop on this computer.... :-P
Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: WayAbvPar on July 26, 2007, 12:12:19 PM WTF are you doing outdoors??? I will be in Vegas in 5 weeks, and all my photos will be indoors or at night! Northern European ancestry+ PNW life does not mesh well with heat, dry or not. If I got drafted and sent to Iraq I would volunteer to carbomb Al-Qaeda just to cool off.

Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: schild on July 26, 2007, 12:15:11 PM Hey. That's the no-beer/cigs japanese shirt. I didn't know you shopped at J-List. Or is there somewhere else to get them?
Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: Yegolev on July 26, 2007, 12:17:00 PM J-List. Awesome, as you know. I have far, far too many T-Shirts.
Ookii, I might suggest Paint.NET but I'm afeared of what you might do. EDIT: My favorite part about Vegas was Valley of Fire State Park and Hoover Dam. That's not a hill, it's a big pile of dirt! Omg I'm thirsty just seeing that picture. Wtf is wrong with you people? You are one power outtage away from death! Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: Gutboy Barrelhouse on July 26, 2007, 04:52:07 PM Looks like Tatooine to me.

That's pretty much my feeling about most places outside the Bay Area in the summer or winter. :| Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: Yegolev on July 26, 2007, 07:43:53 PM Quote EDIT: My favorite part about Vegas was Valley of Fire State Park and Hoover Dam. You have a lot to learn about being a degenerate. I am happy to give lessons. Oh, I'm a degenerate, I just die a little inside whenever I give someone money for no reason... so maybe not as much as I once was since I don't go to strip clubs anymore, and don't smoke (anything) anymore, and was recently betrayed by my body and don't drink anymore. I did like the casinos a bit since I spent my time re-enacting Vegas Vacation and embarrassing my wife with my piss-poor Sid Caesar impression. Wtf is wrong with you people? I was born without a vagina. I'm dealing with it. Omg I'm thirsty just seeing that picture. Wtf is wrong with you people? You are one power outtage away from death! Bah--in Arizona, that's a mountain range. The summit of Camelback Mountain is at 2,704 feet above sea level. The Superstition Mountain Range's highest peak is harder to find on the intardnet, but I'm seeing the Junction City Weather station within the range as only 1800 ft ASL. I remember our ESA for Williams AFB being < 3500 FT, with airfield altitude being approx 900 ft ASL, leaving about 1600-ish feet max peak altitude. Those numbers are from a memory about 17 years old though, and I can't find a topo map to confirm :( Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: Phildo on July 28, 2007, 07:25:41 PM Humphrey's Peak, in Flagstaff, tops out at 12,633 feet as the highest point in the state.

No. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheldon_J._Plankton) Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: cmlancas on July 29, 2007, 11:27:21 AM I never would've guessed. I've seen Fairly OddParents because it is funny, but SpongeBob is where I draw the line. It just isn't funny.
Title: Re: The AZ vacation photos Post by: Yegolev on July 30, 2007, 08:17:00 AM Spongebob is incredibly funny. It's the Bugs Bunny of the 21st century. The first few seasons were better than the later ones, but I have seen some good stuff from the last batch of five new episodes. Yeah, not everything is for everyone, but it is definitely funny.
That picture would be more funny if you watched Spongebob. I also like Fairly Oddparents a lot, it is chock-full of jokes for adults. The Sandman played by Jackie Mason, and Sandman being pronounced to rhyme with Goldman? Brief shot of streetsigns in Fairy World reading Siegfried & Roy? Awesome. |
