Title: Vampire: Bloodlines now available on Steam for $20 Post by: Samwise on May 27, 2007, 01:45:36 PM For anyone who never got to play VtMB and has been having trouble finding a copy of it, you can now get it on Steam for $20.
The Steam version includes the official 1.2 patch (which fixes a bunch of the bugs) but NOT the community-produced unofficial patches. It sounds like the unofficial patches still work, though, as long as you turn off auto-updating on the game (so Steam doesn't mistake the patched files for out-of-date files). At $20 I'm almost tempted to rebuy it just so if I ever get the urge to play through it for an 8th time I'll be able to reinstall without having to find my old CDs. I know a lot of people don't like to deal with Steam at all.
