Blizzard consistantly does some of the best CGI movies there are for thier game intro's, trailers, cutscenes, you-name-it, why the fuck would they go and make a LIVE ACTION movie?
I bet 90% of the visuals in the movie are CGI, and that all acting takes place in front of a green screen. Just like LOTR and the new Star Wars trilogy, it seems that a lot of filmmakers think that awesome visuals and effects will make up for BAD scripts and worse acting. I am reserving judgement till further along in the development process... but it could really go either way. |
