I just checked to see if the realms were up since I had a moment between tweaking some Oblivion mods and the little news window you have to go through now before actually running the game couldn't connect to the news server. Heh.

Also, I did not want to make my first post in the, now eighty-seven page long, SWG thread. Seemed like all the hip kids were posting there first.

The people who made their first posts in that thread have no idea where they are or why MMOGs are discussed here. Not a single one of them could ever be described as a hip kid.

I couldn't log on at all last night; According to a few in my guild, the server was up and taken down three times; The first time, it was brought up and crashed soon after, then restarted, then was administratively taken down, then fixed, and presumably brought back up again. Then you had the login issues, their login servers simply cannot handle the load of all of the server's personnel slamming the connect button at once. They died a horrible and fiery death, as they always do.

For some odd reason I was unable to use Blizzard's patcher this time around.

I'd imagine because their Bittorrent solution is the Avatar of Monkey Ass.
