It just melts my heart that such movies can get made.
Get ready to see a lot more of such movies. These dirty little comedies don't cost much, and when they do even moderately well they make back four or five times their budget. The studio can afford to make a whole handful and throw them to the wall and see what sticks without risking a financial flop. Tent pole action spectaculars, fantasy epics, science fiction, sprawling historical... they all cost too much to risk a genuine failure, and the big players just haven't got that kind of capital anymore.
Most of the great economic decisions in Hollywood of the last few years have been small-scale raunchy, silly, irreverent, mean-spirited, smirking juvenalia like this.
The moneybags can't stay stupid about that forever.
