So to attone for sins commited it seems that Mr Barnett is attempting to release a DRM free copy of WC1 for the 20th anniversary. Seems like a test of EA releasing older titles identical to GOG business model on their store. But hey any DRM free prepackaged/patched installer of old games is good by me.

When Kotaku led off their article on this with "Bioware's Paul Barnett", I got the sudden urge to vomit.  I know the company name is diluted a quite a bit now, but still.. yetch.

Diluted? No, it's now concentrated with the flavors of piss and failure.

Just wait until we get the first "BioWare's Paul Barnett talks about The Old Republic" article: "We've got five star talent and five star drive here at BioWare! ROCKSTAR!".

Quickly followed by feeling a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.

I love how f13 can make a free, DRM-free official release of WC1 into a bad thing.
