I love it when Valve makes it easy for me to buy people early Christmas presents for people.

<--- I only have the stand alone Portal. So I will probably check this out. I think the last FPS I played had Quake in the name.

Sounds like the last FPS you played had Portal in the name.

Edit: Though it's pretty easy to call it a Zelda game.

Can I buy like 5 and just keep them and decide who to gift to later?  Such a good deal...

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

I'm actually curious to see if I do know anyone who doesn't have it. Thankfully Steam will tell me.

It was in an FPS engine, sure. But I dunno, I didn't actually SHOOT anything.

I kind of think of it more as a platformer than anything else.

Well it was nice for me, I never bought it.  Always wanted to try the HL2 episodes but it kept slipping my mind.  Don't really have much interest in Portal or TF2 though.

Itto has money, he's just cheap.

There's absolutely no reason to gift him a damned thing. The thought doesn't even count.

Portal was likely one of the best $10 games I've ever played.  I was so engrossed I finished it the same night I started it.  Not that it's a stretch to do so, but for me that's a long time at the PC.

I don't have it.  Oddly enough, I don't think that will surprise anyone.

I may pick it up though.  There's just nothing to play (MMO-wise) at the moment.
