I still want another game that plays like AC:  0 downtime

wat?  I know they increased buff timers since I last played, but the AC I remember had downtime, particularly when buffing just before running through a dungeon.  Cast boon, stamina to mana self, health to mana self, lay down, repeat.

Items with magic drop frequently, and items can have multiple Life spells, in addition to creature/items spells.

So with the right gear, you really don't have to buff.  If you do buff, it lasts 1hr -> 2 hrs later, and you can cast an item protection on all your stuff with 1 spell.

I normally just toss on Acid Bane, Bludgeon Bane or Fire Bane based on the dungeon.  All the Life protects (all 8) are covered with items.  All the weapons I use have built in buffs.
