You can't fish in lotro?  What a glaring oversight!

Stand next to water and roleplay that you're fishing.

Well, there better be some goddamn good prises for fishing since it's getting in so late!  Dammit.

Unless I'm not fiddling with it anymore.  In which case, I don't give a shit.

They have a hobbit ( Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly? ) of not doing anything, if they are not going to do it right. Thats why i believe its a large part of book 13.

Geez.  The character models really DO look like ass!  Especially from the front.

Oh good.  You get free gold and can insta-level your character to 50.  I'll finish this game in no time flat!

They don't IMO, but I think those new fishing clothes need geometry work. Not to mention they look anachronistic.

That frontal picture looks just awful, totally out of proportion.  Almost like his ass was in the front.   I hadn't noticed before so maybe it is the clothing.

I cant tipe n e more.   swamp poop

Speaking of the graphics, I took some screenshots last night of these sheep that had this weird half stomach half huge ballsack thing hanging between their back legs. It made me feel funny.

That case is extraordinarily foul. Not sure why and if it's several factors. I believe that toon got the beefiest possible build, which is part of why he looks so grotesque. And he's bald. And his name is Riddick. In Quenya.

This is unfortunately somewhat of a trend. Several of the outfits in book 12 (the big outfitting patch) were pretty bad aswell. I hope this won't end up in chainmail bras. But some actually nice clothing would be... well, nice. The devs seriously need to visit SCA events and study the gorgeous but still believable clothing people got. We know everything was covered in mud back in the real days, but that's not what this is about. :)

Turbine had a hardcore SCA artist in Jeanette Chamberlain. I mean hardcore - she made all her own clothes and holds "Order of the Laurel" status for it (I'm told it's the highest award SCA has for artistic pursuits).  It seems she left to start a home business in late 2007.

I made a male character and it doesn't look anything like that bloke in the fishing kit.  It has to be the clothes.  I deleted the character after because it made me feel dirty.

This (late 2007 departure) would coincide with the downfall in costume designs, then. If that's a factor at all. Who knows? Thanks for the tidbit of info. :)
