According to youtube it was Panic Switch, but I digress. I just don't get it. I admit it freely. I thought it was awful. It's like the reincarnation of Billy Corgan in a slightly less effeminate form. I can't get anything out of whatever genre of music that falls under these days. Perhaps at 37, I am just too old for the indie, or whatever-the-fuck they are, scene. I will be in the corner, listening to my Black Flag, Misfits, Sepultura, and Slayer cds.

Sadly said calcification happens twice as hard if you listen to anything "hard" be it punk rock, metal, whatever. I know plenty of guys that are ~30 who have basically been reduced to one genre of music but its always something really loud and angry. I like Misfits, Rancid (out come the wolves at least), rise against, anti-flag and nofx but thankfully I can still listen to good rap, interesting electronica and college radio indie (just got turned on to Portugal. The Man they seem to have some pretty sweet songs). |

I don't know about generalizations. ACDC is my fave band of all time, with a good dose of Megadeth, Disturbed and Lacuna Coil. But Silversun Pickups are awsome to me. Oh, and I'm older than you Cadaverine :)
