Dropped a Mageblood in a random shaper guardian map. I just kind of looked at it sideways for a while. Just so odd to drop the most expensive item in the game. Usually when you see an un-id'd heavy belt sitting on the ground, it's a brief rush followed by small disappointment.
No idea what to even do with it outside of just make my broken (yet cheap) build even stronger. Maybe just make a zoomie, explodey bow build for yucks.
Is it actually gonna be fun to run around and kill things? because that is what completely killed POE for me every single time i tried to get into it, and i gave it LOTS of chances. Even indefensible shit game Marvel Heroes managed to nail the "killing things should feel fun" part of the game.
End game PoE is mainly just running around chunking things with your overpowered build. You kill a lot of monsters. It generally feels great.
Campaign is kind of a drag, though. I imagine that kills it for most people. Hopefully, POE2's campaign is a lot more engagingcan be skipped after the first time.
FIFY. Literally the only thing I like more in D4 than POE.
