Oh, manatees are cool! They're super relaxing to watch, I love 'em. It's cool you're seeing them!

I can't believe I didn't think of looking for them before!

Oh yes some of the weasles and ermines are super cute. There used to be some up in a rock pile by my old school playground. They were pretty inqusisitive and would get pretty close to us if we did not make to many sudden motions very ferret looking with a bit more pointy narrower head.

Used to also see some of the weasle/ferrets bigger cousins the fishers up when I worked with the DNR pretty nifty cute critters and one of the few animals that actually hunts porcupines.

We're pretty sure there's a fisher in the woods near us. It has an absolutely terrifying extremely un-cute call it makes at night. Like, Lovecraftian Cthuhlu-level terrifying.

Hehe ya apparently fishers have a really god awful screach they do from time to time. I never heard it myself but I have heard of it. I used to see them wandering around on trails probably heading to bed early in the morning as my day was just starting as they are pretty nocturnal. The family they and ferrets and otters are from typically are very cute but most range from cute fiesty otter and ferrets to the eat your face off and poop down your neck fiesty of the wolverines.

WEASEL.

That's awesome, and painfully cute.

Saw a weasel or a stoat or something like that in the street in Brighton last week, just running across the pavement and into some bushes by the pavilion. Pretty sure it wasn't just a rat. Very weird place to see that kind of thing.

Hehe I live in green bay in the city and one day I came home and there was a big fat woodchuck sitting on my doorstep. He looks at me with a look like 'sup! and then waddles off. Never seen one before or since around my place.

Somehow, baby rhinos manage to be the exception to the rule.  Even the levitating one looks evil.

I dunno about evil, but they do have the definitive 'do not mess with me' expression.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Cougar cubs!

I went to Marine World yesterday and saw some full-size cougars, which are IMO just as cute. DRILLING AND WOMANLINESS  I wanted to rub their tummies SO MUCH.  The white tiger from photek's avatar is also there; less cute but very impressive.

How is the animal section of Marine World these days?  I haven't been back there in a long time, but the rides and amusement stuff seem to have taken over everything since 6 Flags bought it.
