It's being reported serveral places that Climax is now funding the remaining development for Warhammer Online and it should be released in 18 months:

Perhaps from making multiple (mostly racing) console titles?

I think it's hilarious that GW decides they don't want to fund it anymore, yet let Climax continue making the game. Of course, for GW, that's a win-win proposition. If Climax can't get it made, they don't lose anything more, and if Climax releases successfully, they still get license fees. If Climax releases and it bombs, they can say they were right all along.

That's probably exactly the argument Climax used to keep the ball going.  Good for them - no guts, no game groupies.
