The kitten hugging the stuffed cat doll is cute on the surface but anyone who's had a cat knows that behavior actually is "KILL IT WITH ALL FOUR SETS OF CLAWS WHILE BITING FURIOUSLY"

Good morning f13.

Edit: Unless by half sister they share a father not a mother.
Edit edit: Seems it is a different mother, fine then.

Yes, as both my arms (at various times) can attest, that is NOT cute but supremely painful. But in a cute looking way  awesome, for real

Nature knows when flaws in the design are present. Cruel, sure, but that is the power of evolution. I think humans are the only ones to really give a shit about flawed designs...and the cuteness of baby-anythings... maybe great apes as well? The rest of the animal kingdom senses abnormality and moves on.

Don't demonize cats! When they kill mice and drop them before you feet that's a pretty big gesture of appreciation. How many humans would kill just to show their love?

I love this.  My Magenta does that.  She will destroy it, too, although she's never even bared her claws at a human.  None of my cats have.  I'm lucky.  Lister, like his name sake, will just fall asleep.  Sometimes he stares at the toy for a while, hoping they'll just leave, and then falls asleep.  You should seem him on my sister's extra strength homegrown catnip, though.  He goes freaky wild.

And to add something relevant:

This is one of the baby skunks my sister took care of last year.  She does wildlife rescue.  Baby skunks are one of the cutest things in the world.  At that age you can hug them and snuggle and play.  Once they get a bit older, however, you have back away completely.  Feed them, give them med care if needed and leave.  You can't even really look them in the eyes.  The reason for that is that they become extremely bonded with humans very very quickly and then it's hard to release them back into the wild.  Evidently they make wonderful pets, but that, of course, is not what wildlife rescue is about.  If it were, I'd have a house full of baby skunks.

Another thing that happened while I was away:

My beautiful nephew, Alexander:

We have pics of my sister when she was that age and they look exactly alike.  Too cute.  I also have a new niece, but no pic at the moment.  I need a scanner and a printer.  Eventually.  Oh, and a phone maybe.  And three tiny white dogs and a mini trampoline.

I honestly did not believe that eyes that shade of blue existed outside of fantasy novels.

Young kids often have very blue eyes that fade over time. Same with blonde hair.

It's true.  My sister and I both had eyes that color but they ended up not quite so blue.  My ex brother in law had darker blue eyes and they ended up grey and almost clear.  Very cool color but kind of startling when you look at him.

Small puppy dog thinking he is Rambo, aiming for intimidating and ending up adorable

Edit: I don't mean to sound like a 15 year old, but: It's really totally super cute, watch it!
