Olaf is turning into a bruiser.

Boosted to 12, bought some Androstenedione before the game.   Just time to cross fingers and we get a team sooner rather than later.

On the plus side, my really good OG and OT both finished at level 5, meaning they can stay on CPU control to start the season if need be.

ALSO:

Quote
Q: When does offseason start?
A: Tomorrow, day 41 (June 5th). People still have games today!

Q: How long will the offseason be?
A: We don't know yet. At least 3 days, probably closer to 5. We need to roll out the new teams, give you some time to recruit and make moves, deal with all of you who requested to swap leagues, install some servers, and try to fit in some last minute updates.

Maybe the Bankers get the full season.

Not sure where one 'should' be at level 8, so if I've done something horribly wrong, let me know.

Roster Update

I'm going to start putting together contracts / etc over the next week, so I need to update the roster.

If you want to play with us, please post again with your players you want on the team and whether they are under contract with another Human team.  We will be decidedly low on ammo for trades if the latter is the case, but if there's a way I'll give it a shot.  Players on CPU / D League teams can be signed whenever.

Please also specify your Main vs. Alts.  Want to try and let everyone have at least one starter, unless it'll gimp us.  Ohhhhh, I see.

Here goes:
--------------------
Sauced
 - *Olaf Facehammer, Level 12 RB
 - Dogmeat Johnson, Level 5 OG (Specced for RG)
 - Tiny Lister, Level 5 OT (Specced for RT)

Mazakiel
 - *Samson Kyzecki, Level 8 DT

kidder
 - * Junkyard Mcnuggets, Level 9 DE  (under contract til mid-season 4)

Junkyard McNuggets 9 DE, this would be my "main".

**Edited to add: I'm under contract with a human team, but they are being sold back to GLB and the players released, probably today.

Murdoc MacReady - FS

On a CPU team at the moment, willing to retire this player and start again. Definitely want to stay in the defensive backfield if possible.

They've been recovering from yesterday's DoS attack.  There is nothing going on anyways, I'm sure they are giving the lucky 128 new team owners the chance to sign all of the existing players before they open more single A leagues for us scrubs.

Cochabamba Vipers!

Who wants to move to Bolivia!  I guess we could change the name to something more cocaine related.  The rights to naming the stadium have been purchased by f13, who quickly renamed the small playing field to Bat Country.

Anyone who wants to buy some FPs and boost their players, do it before the season starts (so the boosts count against S2 and not S3). I cranked up 3 of my players to make them more suitable for the league level.

Looks like we are pretty short on defensive players too. Anyone have some Level 7+ defensive players they are hiding? Also need a K and P if anyone has one. There are tons of those as FAs though, so we can get a non-F13 human player pretty easily.

Looks like your contacts expire mid season 3.  Looking forward to poaching your players!

Added WAP as a GM, I wouldn't be surprised if we need more help at some point.

As far as coaching is concerned, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to work it out.  Suffice to say, I want everyone to feel like they have a say.

Offers sent!  3 gaps we need in there.

Still need DE, LT, PK, P starters.  We're surplussing on FB and TE, and will use some of them as backup d and o linemen, so they should get plenty of snaps all over the place.  Any backups will be used this way as often as possible to get everyone on the field.

Also, I'm trying to make sure everyone get enough money that they can at least work level 8 gear upgrades over the first part of the season.  The money situation is weird and I'm being a little tight up front to make sure we can make salary and keep the team.  Once we have a better handle on finances we'll be renegotiating.  Single season contracts seem like the sanest option for a variety of reasons, not least of which is to make it easier to give everyone a nice raise at the end of the year if we can afford it.

Sauced, I'm not sure what you can do...but if you can somehow talk to my team about giving me up.  They are somehow stuck and say they can't release any players now...and they now havent decided if they are selling the team or what.  http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=374821

Let's see I have my level 8 equipment, so I really only need enough money to train in the off season.  My dude is 9 and i'll boost in season 3.
