I have an interest in knowing what those are.

Actually its more likely to be the common bar owl http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barn_owl used to have a bunch of these by my grandpas cabin they look very weird but are cool birds and darn good verminators. My grandpa always liked having a bunch of owls in the area.

They're being fed, waiting for a carcass to be tossed to them, like Gulpy there. Barn owls are wicked, and it's funny this is posted just as I was looking into getting an owl box for my yard.

You should, very cool to have.  My parents are rice farmers, and we set up a bunch of owl boxes along the drainage canal between some of our fields.  All of them filled up with barn owl families in short order.  Like, one time I was walking by a box that I could climb up a nearby tree branch and see in.  There were 2 full size owls and 3 small to medium size ones all crammed into this damn thing.  And thats when I noticed there was another huge god damn owl sleeping out in the open on the tree branch next to the box because there wasn't any room.  I climbed back down off the branch very slowly  awesome, for real.

But yeah, the boxes really do work, and its really cool to have a chance to see them up close, flying around all your property all time, and just doing generally cool owl things.

Given the quality, a few days. Actually, probably a week, a few days setting it up, a few days animating and a day or two testing.

It's the product of an old, old SA thread. Each tile has 6 (I think) entrance/exit points and are timed to link up together.

I associate the colour orange with Scooby-Doo.

I'd watch Scooby Doo if they looked like that.

That Scooby-Doo picture ruined my childhood memories... almost as much as the addition of Scrappy-Doo.

It's funny because the original scooby doo was one of the most poorly drawn and poorly animated cartoons I've ever seen, whether or not I liked it as a child.

It's really hard for me to care about childhood memories simply because I understand things get better.

Scrawny limbs with huge emo doe eyes is not necessarily better, though.

They all already had scrawny limbs. Also, note the perspective. As for the huge emo doe eyes:

Huge image

Daphne already had doe eyes (as if they were ripped from a doe and pasted on her noggin). Velma had big eyes behind her giant 70s frames. Reggie looks pretty much on point for an anime version and Shaggy, well, any drawing of Shaggy is an improvement over his depraved pothead-esque original slouch. Scooby in that picture is outright fantastic and not even notably anime.

Different, yes... but better?  Anime is homogenizing everything.  I just can't stomach the japanese style... not my taste.  We've had this discussion like a million times.
