That list is very redneck. Cracklins beating out prosciutto? Hanger steak beating a nice filet? I call Southnanigans.

The fact that Scrapple beat tenderloin, and cracklins over prosciutto are the dead giveaways it's a Southern bracket. Being from the South, I can say this is even purer redneck south, not the good kind of south. Any southerner who knocks out pulled pork in the second round is a damned idiot.

That bracket was apparently all the work of an ESPN columnist called Paul Lukas. I read this in a free paper on the bus today. Also the man apparently has no sense of taste.

Worse, it appears he's moving the Rook first.

I know I'm late to this, but it's the Knight he's moving. If you zoom in and look you can see that the outline of the far right black piece matches that of the far left white piece. The shadow is throwing it off.

I was thinking Niagara Falls. The force of water/vapors from that thing could form icicles like that.

The image is called "geneve.jpg", which going by the body of water with hills in the background, and the very Euro-looking van in the foreground, makes me think it is Geneva.

EDIT: Though it looks like the van has very north american shaped plates.....and the far car looks like a caddy. Time to do some research.

AH HA! I was right the first time : http://www.hoax-slayer.com/ice-storm-photos.shtml

Here's one:

Took that in March 2003 as we fired the opening salvos of the Iraq war.  Regardless of your stance on the war, setting a million dollars of explosives on fire generally makes for a pretty fantastic picture.

Almost as good as a picture of one million one dollar bills on fire...  and fewer people get shot at in the process!

Obvious political commentary is obvious.

Modern warfare sucks. Purely for my own entertainment the world should get rid of all of its modern weaponry and go back to swords and shit just so televised battles will be 500x better. Barring that, bring back arena battles. Can you even imagine the success the Colosseum would've been had it been aired on ESPN. Man, football and basketball wouldn't even fucking exist.

Do you remember The KLF? They made £1 million from their music. They withdrew the entire £1 million from the bank, nailed the banknotes to a board, and showed it around the UK as a work of art. That wasn't enough of a statement, so they took the entire £1 million to the Scottish Isle of Jura and burnt it. They filmed the fire and turned the entire story into a movie worth seeing.

As long as the entire planet agrees to the rules, going back to the bronze age tech wise would work. Until someone shows up with a gun awesome, for real

By the distinctive face, that's a common barn owl, IMO. You can see from the shadows that something moves behind the camera. That's what the owl at the back is following. Their eyes can't move, so they move their heads to track something.

The camera adds a thousand barrels. - Steven Colbert
