I really want the story behind these weapons.
Wheel-lock pistols (which is what those are) are not easy to reload quickly, when fighting then, they were usually fired once at close range then used as a melee weapon thereafter. Generally the weapon had a heavy, club-like butt so that when the weapon was reversed it served as a handy and robust hand weapon. Inevitably, wealthy clients of gunsmiths asked for more ornate or more showy variations and so weapons like this were produced, it was relatively common for pistols to be built into swords or daggers but heavier weapons like hammers, axes and spears weren't unknown. Often they were created as show pieces and weren't especially practical as actual weapons, many however were used in warfare by noblemen and wealthy officers.

The hat is cute.

Agreed and definitely a good looking girl. But why in "Awesome Pictures Thread"? She's not doing anything awesome that I see. Notice I agree that she's good looking, but that in and of itself isn't exactly awesome.

Awesome is a gun. With an axe. Axegun. Definitely awesome.

Suprisingly, no.  We had like, 5 girls in the entire CS major at my school, but very few of them I would say were ugly, several of them were actually much hotter than that girl.
