Is that real? I never knew a) Skates/Rays aggregated into large groups b) they swam so near the surface.

If it's real that would be a sweet sight to see.

Luther Burbank said once (paraphrasing) that whatever crazy crossbreeding shit you could do to a fruit to make it giant, make it seedless, make it neon pink, whatever, was a waste of time unless you could make it taste good too.

I feel pretty much the same way about arty cakes.

Yeah, I'm essentially in the same boat with that. Also, fondant is just sugar drywall. It's not a delicacy.

It might physically be made up of mostly cake like items, but 4 days exposed to the air and wrapped in the sugar equivalent of flour paste does not delicious and moist make.  Cake is meant to be eaten, ergo that is not a cake.

It's probably real.  I've seen a similar spawning group alongside a jetty when I was younger.  Endless groups of rays swimming towards shore for hours.  It was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever encountered.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

Wow those rays were scary as hell. And beautiful at the same time. Steve Irwin would turn in his grave if he saw that picture  awesome, for real

Last year in Bosnia me and my father found a 28KG watermelon, and it wasn't even the biggest. Then I let my younger cousin try to hold it, nearly failed  ACK!
