Hey finally something exciting! I got Taskmaster who I like very much mainly from Marvel vs Capcom. Sadly I'm knee deep in too many games as is and I've got people wanting me to play PoE with them already so I doubt I'll get to learn how Task works anytime soon.

Only problem with mr fantastic right now is that there is a bug where you lose your team up buffs when you use his signature.

If you don't have a team up, it won't affect you.

Don't retire him until you've tried out his signature move.

Squirrel Girl is ridiculously powerful. She's a freight train of tiny speedy death. 

About the only annoyance is that her only passive buff, Squirrel Heart won't stay up for some reason. Not that she really needs it with her billion HP per second from her squirrels.

I got Luke Cage and Psylock. I'm pretty sure Luke Cage is just the other side of "I know it when I see it". there's a lot of really uncomfortable stuff there, perhaps capped off by Hank Pym telling him he'd be a perfect experimental subject.

Honestly his ability to use outwit to refresh the sig which allows you to get basically 5 sigs in a bit over a minute for stupid levels of damage frankly I could care less if the team buff passives work or not for the moment. At level 50 each bounce is doing between 500-800k damage in my leveling crap gear and you can get like 12 bounces to start a fight off then 30 seconds do another one and then 30 more seconds later you can get the double off again.

In the periods of time when you are not a beach ball of death foot stomp/giant punch/inflate with using stretchy punch as a filler does pretty good damage.

I had been using moonknight as my boss killer but really with how ferquently MR fantastic can poop out his signature power and the fact it is aoe makes mr fantastic pretty crazy.

The only downside really to mr fantastic is he is a bit squishy during leveling because all his low level powers lock you into place to do their animation. His higher level powers like his sig and the twister are nice because they allow you to move around.

Meh, maybe one day I'll get to him.  I've got way too many heroes now and since I don't party-up and get bored after an hour or so it takes me much longer to level. I don't see ever hitting 52 on more than one or two more characters before I get completely bored and toss it aside and Hawkeye isn't on the radar for that.

I'm just glad the 175/25000 sale is over. I've already spent way too much money on this game and I was finding myself coming up with justifications about how it would be cheaper in the long run, which sadly it probably will turn out to be.

Pets are cosmetic, sidekicks will fight or provide buffs if you don't bring them out.

Team ups are functional pets or passive buffs, the mini pets are just for looks. Ugh a stack of 200 lemurias gives 200 hps and 99 health on hit, that is going to bug the shit out of me forever.

I knew about the team ups, but was curious about the pets. I had an insignia or something for a bit that gave HERBIE and was wondering if that did anything.

Have I mentioned how awesome Squirrel Girl is? Because she is. I think if she wasn't as awesome her gee whiz golly gee talking might get to be a bit much, but it just makes her all that much more fun. I love when for no apparent reason I can see she busts out with "Did you see that?" What's with her and Ghost Rider? I'm pretty sure he's the one that triggers "Logan says you're supposed to stay far away from me."

How does that work?

Go to Midtown, charm a Brood Wasp Queen, go to holo-sim and watch all the babies (up to six) tank everything for you. They also do A LOT of damage to bosses, to the point where I'm half convinced they might be broken and bugged.


When you reach far enough and the survival waves become utter bullshit and one shot you, just stay stealthed the entire time

Does your pet automatically level with you or should you go to MM every time you level up to the next rung? My current pet is already a Queen but I got it from level 1 4 MM

I've always gotten a new pet every tier, since I don't use one when I run midtown or terminals. Just the sim.

Set items are not something that will necessarily be part of the game, mainly because they actually limit options more than increase options, so most people end up avoiding them.

That was from a AMA they did yesterday on reddit and can i just say thank fucking god? set items made diablo 3 so incredibly lame.

Star Lord needed a couple extra weeks on the test server, the basics of a good character are there but he needs sooo much work.

I'm confident he'll get it in the next few patches. I don't have him myself but I hear one of the biggest complaints is just pure button space. More hotbars please.

Yeah, I'm a complainer - for a couple (several?) heroes I'm picking powers based on how many buttons I have available, and that ain't right.  I know I did it on Loki, Human Torch, and Black Panther, probably others too.  That second bar being on screen would be very helpful.
