Not really. It wasn't a reference to the color or type of keys, but a computer in a fairly conventional shape of keyboard. The Spectrum was more compact - the reason I'm reminded of (something like) the C= 64 is that it is wide enough to be inconvenient as something to stick in your backpack. Amstrad CPC 464 (or Spectrum +2, +3) would be an even better example perhaps, but who the fuck here knows what those were? The keys on this are nothing like either the C= 64 "full range" or Spectrum "dead flesh" keys. What would have been the keyboard-sized 8-bit computer that had the most similar keys? Perhaps the Oric 1.

Ah well. Comparisons aside, I don't think that carrying a computer around that's the shape of a keyboard is very useful. And if you're not carrying it around, I don't think the idea of the computer being in the keyboard shell is that useful these days either.

Actually Amstrad was the first thing I thought of aswell, but they are very vague memory to me I only remember my geekiest of 8 year old friends owning one. Oh and isn't a laptop just a computer in a keyboard with a large screen attached for good measure? I prefer this idea fucking laptop screens are too easy to break and replacing them isn't worthwhile.

I'm going to escape, come back, wipe this place off the face of the Earth, obliterate it and you with it.

Anything's possible, but WoW isn't likely the only issue there.  I went from 180 to 220 in my early 20s and it had everything to do with getting married, working a desk job and (I'm certain) my metabolism changing... all within a year.  My life became incredibly different in a very short period of time.

Is that picture suggesting it's the same guy gaining weight?

That's what I pretty much assumed after seeing it.  He looks to much younger as he 'gets fatter'.

I suspect that it is the shell design on one of the Asus Eee PC netbooks. Wonder what tipped me off.
