KITTY!   Heart  DRILLING AND WOMANLINESS  Heart

You're probably not supposed to scratch them behind the ears, but I'd have a really hard time stopping myself.

Well at least the people in the vehicle behind them are in a perfect spot to watch the carnage ensue.

Cheetahs aren't really very dangerous. I mean, you don't want to just pet a wild one probably, that's a good way to get bitten, but the chances of one actually attacking you are really low. You're in more danger from, say, a raccoon.

What's really weird about that picture is that they're normally extremely skittish.

Exactly. The wild animals, as I was always told, are fearful of humans - by instinct. When they don't run away and go so far as to approach you, that means something is wrong and is about to go really wrong. Of course, my grandmother's conclusion was always: Rabies. I would suspect this kitty has seen plenty of tour vehicles in the park and come to consider them tourists... Gotta a dollar guys? I got 4 kids to feed!

Yeah, I'm not an expert on cheetah behavior or anything, but that doesn't look like an aggressive animal to me.  That looks like a cat who has learned that tour jeeps mean free kitty treats.

Unlike other large cats, cheetahs are fairly easily domesticated.  One that's been around people isn't much of a threat.

A few years ago we were at the Houston Zoo.  They were walking a cheetah and his doggie companion in the grassy area outside their cage.  They wouldn't do that for most animals, and certainly not any of the other felines.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

Too much geometry to be the Nagel ripoff it's trying for, but still pretty nifty.

Also no, he was always a bit too scary. I prefer my men to be a bit more pansy.
