I was going to make fun of it for having dinosaurs and being some kind of Young Earth propaganda movie.  But I went back and watched the trailer online, and there aren't any dinosaurs.  Just mammoths (10,000BC?  fine), smilodons (that's more of a stretch, but close), and some kind of evil ostrich (I'll take their word for it).  Now I'm cautiously optimistic.

It looked to me like they were trying to rip off Apocolypto. Then, everyone in the preview started speaking English, in 10000 BC, and I burst out laughing.

EDIT: I also watched a second preview. Titanic buildings, domesticated horses, and SAILING ships? Seriously, they should have just added dinosaurs to really toss even the last shred of reality out the window.

I thought it was another Moses movie, and I'm still thinking that.

I just thought it was the Scorpion King reboot without the Rock.

Not just English, but English with that faux British accent.

Over and out.

The Rock gave up his acting career to be in films.

It looked better when it had Racquel Welch.

vampirehipi23: I would enjoy a book written by a monkey and turned into a movie rather than this.

At best I'm  hoping for a pseudo-Conan or maybe Beastmaster style movie.  Wanton violence and human sacrifices to elemental gods and ziggurats.  Lots of ziggurats.   Expecting anything else out of this movie is idiotic.

and tits.  There better be tits.

edit for tits

That was good.  I give the joke more stars than I predict for the movie.

One whole star for the joke?  How generous!

(I liked it, but I love horrible puns.)

I"m digging on it. I don't expect much more than a neat campy B movie. Bubblegum for the eyes.

I was drinking when I wrote this, so sue me if it goes astray.

This movie exists solely because the artists figured out how to get their serverfarm to render all that hair in under three years.

It's like that Mission Impossible movie which was made mostly because John Woo had some cool sfx he wanted to try out.
