Anime is the dumbest thing on God's green earth. Fuck everyone who thinks Princess Mononoke is a good film.

My Czech friend says about this particular clip: The second link is actually very funny - except, of course, you need to know the background. It's a clip from a Russian fairy tale which was force fed down our throats traditionally each year on Christmas during the communist times. The way how they mocked it up in the clip on YouTube is hilarious!"

Yep, the fiancee's family watches it every year. It's pretty much a tradition of being amused at the Russian fairy tale every year, even now that the Czech republic is no longer really associated with Russia. It's a fantastic country though.. I absolutely LOVE Prague. Mrazik sort of reminds me of the German tradition of watching "Dinner for One" every New Years: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1v4BYV-YvA

I should get back to nature, too. You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer. Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached. Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Woah, they finally reproduced it?! Sweet! Last I heard they took some really cool xrays and finally discovered what some of the stuff did (along with the instruction manual top/case thing)

Damn you not describing your videos. You tricked me into clicking on that horrible, horrible video.
Edit: OK, it wasn't a horrible video, at least from a production standpoint; the cuts were on and it wasn't FF7 done to queen's "who wants to live forever", but it's still a fucking anime music video.

Please do not be generalizing to all Americans. These are my fellow Seattleites, who cannot drive for shit AT THE BEST OF TIMES. Someone from Alaska, Montana, Idaho, or just about any northern/mountain state can drive just fine. What you tend to get here in Seattle is a bunch of upper class Californian transplants in their SUVs who think their car is immune to the laws of physics.

I tried not to generalize. Guess I need to specify a bit more, but yeah, it's amusing to see people continue to spin their tires despite being on a decline covered with ice.

Weird.. I know my geographical knowledge of the US isn't stellar, but isn't Seattle really far north? Why do they have such a hard time of it?

There are Canadian cities like that. The minute rain or snow touches the ground there's a subset of people who just can't wrap their brain around driving properly.
