I wasn't aware Scientologists prayed. I thought they just worshipped piles of money until their pores cleared up.

As I understand it, it's a technique of placing hot cups on areas to "suck out bodily poisons".

I wouldn't google it at work... TEH HORROR!

If it's the chinese therapy thing, then it seems SFW at initial glance.

It's a form of Chinese medicine

I had to look up Rolfing myself. It seems to be a fancy word for massage.

You mean it's not what they do when they tell you to turn your head and cough?

Cupping is massaging but in the opposite direction (pulling instead of pushing). Works great on knots. Hurts like a mofo.

image of silly stuff

Aromatherapy needs to come right the fuck off that list. I love to smell nice things while getting a deep tissue massage. Unless they mean to imply that somebody out there actually thinks smelling stuff cures things? If so then it can stay on the quackery portion of the diagram.

Well holy crap. All this time i thought nice smelling stuff was only intended as an aid to relaxation.

OH THAT. I've seen videos of that. Ok, yes probably crazy as shit but SFW. It just sounded like "turn your head and cough" kind of cupping.

Are you sure? It's close but the tracery on the windows doesn't match up. Gloucester only has 3 mullions and those have 4.  Also, the presbytery end of the quire ceiling ends in a massive stained glass window but that picture doesnt.

EDIT - better suggestion than mine though!  awesome, for real

Its like when they got to Washington State they just gave up on that map. Twin Peaks is in Central Washington and Seattle is not in Eastern Washington. Some of the other cities are only close... But its a interesting picture overall.

I tried to think of something for Kentucky and all I came up with is Dukes of Hazard.  tongue
There's probably something more current, but it probably involves meth.  Ohhhhh, I see.

Pretty sure that the Dukes of Hazzard was set in Georgia.

Hazzard was a fictional county in Georgia, yes. Thus the extra "Z"

There's so many popular/ influential shows missing from that map that the more you examine it the worse it looks.

Also set in Kentucky were Daniel Boone, Davey Crockett, Legacy and Promised Land.

Nebraska looks lonely, so let's stick "The Young Riders" there for those that remember it.

The Virginian? Set in Wyoming.

Leaving off "I Love Lucy" is just a crime, no matter that it's another show in NYC.

Not in the US, so it wouldn't be on the map.  I guess you could show the harbor they left from.
