Ok, I just read through the plot summary on Wiki. It was vague on a few points though, and its now bugging me. *spoilers* So, why the fuck was everybody killing themselves? Where they all being brainwashed by Dessert subliminally (through songs, posters, and the web site)? What was with all the shit that happens at the concert Mitsuko goes to? Did she get brainwashed as well (but then is just waiting to kill herself after the movie ends)? Did they ever exactly explain the rolls of flesh and what the whole connect to yourself thing meant? And did that Genesis guy have anything to do with it, or was he just a random psycopath?*End spoilers* I'm know that I'm never actually going to bother watching the movie, but now I want to understand the plot and meaning of the story better  . Help me! |

How about a video? The interview at the end is pure win. "... put the money towards her wedding." (emphasis mine.) Holy fuck. Run away, dude, run away. Also, there's a saying that goes something like "There are no ugly brides." The man who coined that phrase needs to see that video. I don't like the way shoulderless wedding dresses look.

Wedding dresses just need to be tasteful (ie - this is not the time to show off your rack in a house of God), and bridesmaid dresses need to be some color that would never be acceptable in normal public viewing.

I disagree. The wedding dress need only please the bride. After a week, she's the only one that will remember the wedding anyway. |
