She got chosen for the team over the average looking Asian girl (who actually beat her in Nationals). Funnily enough the pretty blonde one is being used in a LOT of sponsors ads (BP and Hilton are two I've seen).
That's funny, I just saw an article talking about how the US Olympic teams are better because they have to work hard for their corporate sponsorships (rather than having govt-sponsored teams like most other countries).  |

I can't speak for the others but I'm afraid I can't prove I'm not stupid either.  Below are all from the UK Fell* Relay champs in October and are funny to no-one but me. Even funnier if you heard the cheer from the spectators every time someone went over.
