Well, if u look at the last panel, Finland-ball sighed with pride. He questioned himself at first, why can't he enjoy life like Brazilian Ball (Hahahehueueueu), sunbathe like Italy, or have fun like Portugal and Germany in a warmer climate.

That's Spain. There certainly is no fun to be had and only a marginally warmer climate in Germany.

That's also France sunbathing, Blue White and Red.  Italy is Green White and Red.

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet within your power.

The very first bit of Firefly I ever saw was http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=0W_3ZHLBOn4#t=134s (wonder if the time stamp link works, if not 2:14) from that exact point and I fell in love right there and then.
Gina Torres is a really good reason to fall in love with the show. Heart

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

I didn't watch Firefly

BURN HIM!!!!!

Every 6-8 months or so, I watch another 2 episodes of Firefly. By the end of the second one, I'm inevitably so annoyed with it I go back to the 6-8 months thing. So I still haven't finished watching the series.

The last panel of that comic shows him drinking, smoking and on prozac with a magazine in front of him that says prozac doesn't work, smoking will kill you and that booze is even worse.  I don't think he's smiling either.  The question of why he stays was answered, he is being guilted into it by his ancestors and the weight of it has led him to despair via the prozac, booze and smoking.  It looks more like a sigh of resignation to me.

Funny thing is, the Finns I have met are inordinately cheerful compared to their other Scandinavian counterparts. May not be a statistically valid sampling.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

This doesn't explain why Scottish people stay.

Something I've been wondering with all my might for the last 3 years.

I watched the actual first episode of Firefly from a DVD a friend gave me, said "this is bullshit" and handed it back. The bits and pieces I've seen since haven't changed my opinion.

Then again I've never liked a Joss Weldon show very much.

Do I lose all geek cred if I admit that I don't know who any of those people are?

Most of it, yes.  Also grammar cred since I fixed a spelling error in your post.

Curved swords is somewhat funnier.  Or several things Belethor says, but his problem is he doesn't say it in every town.

My favorite so far was a guard who saw me cast Clairvoyance yelled "WHOA whoa whoa whoa... watch it with the magic!".  Nordic Jackie Mason.

You mean correctly as in gramatically, or as it was said in skyrim?

Well if you had a ton of ghetto kids pulling bits of your body off to pack into a bong, you'd be a little salty as well.
