I'm curious how those of you in the 20's and 30's are doing on AA progression to compare to how they move during end game. Just a rough idea of:
Char Level when KoS came out: Char Level now: AA Level:
The reason I ask is it seems they are moving insanely slow for me. I thought I read a dev post somewhere that level 60's shouldn't be too worried as we'll have most of our AA's by the time we reach 70....
Well I've been 70 for about 2 weeks, I've done every instance except one, and I've done 2 of the raid zones but I'm still only at 18 AA's. I still have a couple of big quests to finish in KOS (heritage and signature) so I'm hoping those will be a big boost but at this rate it's going to take at least 2 more months to get to 50 AA level.

Edit: not that it matters to me, the warden AA tree is crap.

I got KOS about level 21 or 22, and I have 2 ranks in the Assasin INT tree. All that gave me was +7 INT or something. Yeah, it's REAL slow, since you no longer get AA exp. just for leveling. You have to actually finish quests and get experience for exploring a new area in order to get any AA.

Ok. Sounds like it's slow across the board then. My concern was that KoS seems to be lacking the number of quests that we got in DoF. I was thinking that there would be level 40's running around with full AA's and higher levels would be screwed since there's not a whole lot of questing to be done in KoS and the quests that there are aren't very obvious.

It seemed real picky about what it considers finishing a quest or killing a named, and wasn't paying out much exp for discovery. Both my characters only have the entry AA opened, so 1 level, and in my SK's case, that's about lvl20-lvl30 adventure exp, mostly questing. I think it registered one quest finished? Whatever.

My character isn't in the 20s, but I got KoS at 53 and at 55 I have 6 AAs. That said, I have spent a few nights hunting named mobs specifically for AAs. Nek Castle 2 has nine nameds and all gave AA exp. All nine probably generated 30% of an AA in aggregate.

I've been making pretty good AA xp from the quests in DoF. Up until then the average quest gave around 1-3% or so. Every quest in DoF seems to give 5% and sometime more. Some collections give decent AA xp also, and from what I've seen the Lore and Legend quests and some of the language quests give around 10%.

It's an entire mechanic I'm just ignoring for now.
