I started hunting grizzlies eariler today.  Not super duper for cash, but holy cow 100xp an hour.  Flip between that and stealing horses and I'm going to zoom levels soon.

Finally high enough level to start hitting the big kids.  Dueled a fighter 6 levels higher than me and won, but dueled a builder 5 levels higher than me and lost half my life.  WTF.

Interesting griefing story on the forums. A town that invited someone for shopping then found that he donated a whole 6$ and then started spending the towns treasury building with a really low skill. Given there's a 24 hour delay before they can kick him there's nothing they can do about it.

I'm trying to save up some money for some character upgrades since all my gear, other than my gun, is about 15 levels behind. I'll try and keep some cash flowing into the building fund, but I'm finding since I have really low skill at most of the jobs I'm doing (but good XP) my earning potential is really low.

Damn, I got some quest for April to get a hammer. But then I couldn't complete it since April ended...

Heh. I wonder if it was a goon? That is one of their specialties. Speaking of goons- I somehow managed to avoid seeing this giant thread until AFTER I made a character on World 9 to join them. Can't use both Worlds 8 and 9, so I am F13-less unless there are alts playing on another server?

You could always stop playing that character and create a new character using a different email address. Or if you want to be totally above board, email the support folks first and ask them to delete your world 9 character/account.

I created alts on Worlds 1-7 to try out different things. I don't play them often as my World 8 character so they're all around level 10 at the moment, but if you look for Righ on any world except 9 you'll find me. I took over a ghost town on World 5 if anybody wants somewhere to park an alt.

When grizzly hunting goes bad, expect to get your ass handed to you.  I queued myself for 2 2hr sessions and damn near got KO'd by the bastards.

I think it is supposed to become safer or the injuries less severe after you build up more labour points. I once got almost knocked out by an orange.  awesome, for real

Getting attacked by Bizarro and going 0/148 in my favor is a good feeling. Getting up to the part in the soldier quests where it wants 1000g in items to complete the quest (Pony + Precise Slingshot) is  ACK!, I don't even have a mount that good.

I got I a precise sling shot from the demolish the dam job - 40% luck I think.  I think there's a lvl 37 quest that gives a better horse, you can wait till you reach 37 so you don't have to buy an extra pony.

Dam-demolishing is only 9% luck.  I think I got my precise slingshot by digging graves or trading or something in the 20something% luck range.

Grain of salt.  I am an adventurer and farmed up dam demolishing considerably.  It did pitiful damage if any.  Hunting turkeys did more damage by orders of magnitude.

That sounds like a good idea. Since I don't have the money anyway and the precise slingshot is a low level drop I'll grind the highest luck job I have (Build irrigation system) and hope. That would be a lot more rewarding with the adventurer class bonus though.

My favorite injury so far is taking 60 damage from a falling orange.

I see the copper boys are all stirred up too. I'm not winning all the duels (they have a level/gear advantage) but I'm happy if I can take a decent chunk out of them. And the XP if I do win is very nice.

I think I reached the point of silliness.  I need a rebel flag and a black sash on top of gathering all this nonsense for an adventurer quest.  What's with the 2% drop rate on the flag? Ugh.

Rebel flag?  You mean union flag?  Yeah it is annoying but it will happen.  At least the grind of this game can be a few minutes of time per day.

That quest was mentioned (with hatred) on the official forums so I knew it was coming. As soon as I could arrange gear to do guarding the fort I did 4 hours a day till I got it. But there certainly are some horror stories. As said above though the real life impact of the grind is not too bad.

Can you toss me an invite for later? Note: You make a fuck ton of cash if you can get one good sleep and work period. Helps whenyou aren't closely monitoring the game.

I suggest that everyone who does some duelling upgrade their weapons ASAP.

If you look at the mortician stats, I just did 770 points of damage in a duel (against a builder, all headshots) and I also have the lead on the highest damage on a single hit 140.

PI-Man still did more damage with that special gun and his semipure Aim/Shooting build. 192 (to me, I nonetheless knocked him out yesterday, because my gun has less spread damagewise)
