I didn't think anyone had the balls to try and replicate an Asari's look. Given the terrible look of those models, I was right on the money on why it'd be a stupid idea. Hell.

...but LCDs do not suffer from burn in.

They can get a temporary burn in "like" type of image, the dude needs to put a movie on repeat for a week or so and it will work itself out of the screen. I learned that LCDs are not immune to a burn in like effect due to some issues my business has had with some HTPCs that we have installed on LCD TVs. One customer left newegg up on a new samsung led lcd, and when he came back there was sharp lettering still visible on the screen, we rectified it with several hours of movies on repeat. It went away.

So, when are you picking up the TV?

YA to bad I cannot make that drive. LDC don't screen burn but they do get screen persistance. I have had it happen to my mac at work a few times when the stupid screen saver failes to kick on and so I can see a shadow of my ssh client. Basically as others said play a lot of movies on it or a faster way is to get a pure white background and have it display that for a couple hours. Basically a pure white background will force the stuck LCD to unstick and switch to white and from there after a couple hours everything is fixed and you are good to go.

I love cosplay and that's bad.  Really bad.  Worse than amature bad.  Maybe if they had hired a competent artist to do some air-brushing.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

To be fair, for the first few years I've seen that picture, there's just been a caption about the mother working at Home Depot and it being a snow shovel. The whole story/letter thing is a new addition to the bloodworthing.

Aight, I demand a structured definition to "bloodworthing"  Overuse, especially outside of proper context, shifts the user away from witty and into trendy.  Don't let worthy blood be spilled in vain!

Verb
to bloodworth (third-person singular simple present bloodworths, present participle bloodworthing, simple past and past participle bloodworthed)

  • (transitive) To obliviously repost something that has been posted before.
Wow, that's like the fifth time that same cat picture has been bloodworthed.
  • (transitive) To scramble a thread to incoherence by reposting (see definition 1) or aggressive non sequitur.
This thread has been so thoroughly bloodworthed I can't even remember what it was supposed to be about.
  • (intransitive) To habitually bloodworth threads.
He's been bloodworthing a lot lately, do you think it might be mad cow?

The thought of bloodworthing is what keeps Sky's avatar going.

I think that one probably belongs in the awesome pics thread.  Or some sort of Hall of Fame.  That is just outstanding.

I think it's a "virtual business card" sort of thing?  I occasionally see them attached to emails from people who think it makes them look important.

I don't think that's the context the young lady was using it in, though. Although that would be pretty funny...

Vagina.  At least my assumption.  You'll note she's listing how far she's willing to go with a guy, hand jobs, blow jobs, let him finger her, etc.  I would assume the V-card is an all access pass to her snatch.
